I bought some Instant tan today, the sort you wash off, because I am going to a wedding next weekend and done want to flash me lilly white legs to the vicar. Anyway, has any of you looked for the above product? Or even bought it? ....there are loads and loads of the stuff all different makes and different ways to apply, including wipes... YEP! and including testers .....by the time I came out and had sprayed, gelled and foamed my arms I looked like friesian cow....Moooooooooooo How embarrassing!
Crazy isn't it? And most of it smells so bad! I remember the tan wipes in an orange packet (Seems quite ironic they come in an orange pack!) and gave you nothing but orange palms.Refuse to use sunbeds though, too dangerous.Best is a spray tan I find.
Gawd Patti hope you don't end up looking like streaky bacon
I know what you mean! I once tried Xen-tan, which was nice cos it wasn't orange but my knees and elbows ended up browner than the rest of me. Make sure you exfoliate before use!
Hi Mat I have never used this sort of stuff before. I was thinking of having one of those spray tans, but was frightened that I would look like an orange. This woman at work has them and her ankles are deep orange at the back...looks hideous.I saw the wipes and thought, nah! then I saw the spray and foaming ones...that lasted 24 hours, so I opted for the spray one...I shall try it later after I have had a glass of wine...Or maybe it will be better if i tried it in the morrow......
Awww yes, I have a grinding stone ready....lol I bought a glove in the end, because it did advise you to do that...I'll put a bit of rock salt in some shower gel
:DAnd don't forget..... Most of them take a while to actually show any colour once you've put them on! So if at first it doesn't look like it has done anything - don't be tempted to put more on!I hope it goes right for you! But if not. PICTURES.
Mat you seem to be talking from experience
Here is a taster! Mat I am surprised you use fake tan, you need to get out in the sunshine....lol
I have a spare orbital sander if that would help?
I use it for the winter months when there is no sunshine. And for 60% of the summer months when there is no sunshine.
