Police Interview under caution of Julie Mugford...

Withheld under pii:-

In the withheld police interview under caution, Mugford speaks about things she suspects Jeremy to have done, not what she knows he has done, she tells DS Jones that Jeremy has dumped her and been cheating on her with her best friend, and she tells DS Jones, that she is prepared to do anything, and say anything to help the police arrest Jeremy for the burglary at Osea Road Camp site, and drug related offences, and cheque book fraud. When prompted by DS Jones in the interview, about wther or not she thought Jeremy had got anything to do with the deaths of his family, she replied, "I don't think so, but if you want me to say he did I will co-operate with anything the police want me to do, or say"...

The contents of Mugfords interview under caution should have been released to the defence solicitors prior to commencement of the trial, and the jury should have been made aware of its contents - failure to disclose this important material was prejudicial to Bamber ever receiving a fair trial...

The truth of the matter is that Mugford did not go to the police to tell them about how Jeremy had been planning to murder his family, or that Jeremy had paid a hitman two thousand pounds to kill his family, or that Jeremy had carried out the murders himself, she went there to confess to her role in the burglary at Osea road camp site, drug dealing and cheque book fraud, she went there to tell the police all about what she had been doing, to clear her conscience and thus make a clean break from Bamber - once she did that, she was at the mercy of dodgy "Stan" Jones, who blackmailed her into making up things, or risk being charged with all sorts of offences, of being charged and sent to jail, of having no career in teaching, and everything else he could pressurise her with...

In this interview under caution, she names the prosecution witnesses who supplied drugs, or purchased drugs from her in her role as a drug dealor, including at least one of the relatives...

Guess who the relatives were, who Mugford supplied drugs to, or sold drugs?

I'd like to have a punt but can feel the wrath of Vic just around the corner, so I'll stay out of this one.

Pargeters brother Roland was a self confessed druggie. He was the one that introduced the story of planes dropping off consignments at whf.

If this can be SEEN to be fact, I imagine it will have a lot of weight behind it, but until then it's just another reason for Vic to climb into the ring with Mike.
