Why haven't we heard anything about the previous attempted abduction there, two weeks ago.?
Unless,of course police have found a connection to that, and the arrest of Bridger,,,because prior to this case, the police were still in the middle of sorting out that first attempted abduction,so any clues from that, would have come to light in this one.

I would say it's the same culprit,,and because Bridger had lived there for 25 years, locals would have got used to him being around,so his presence anywhere wouldn't have appeared suspicious.
But how has this happened after having lived there all those years.? So suddenly.? Why.?
Was he a known offender before he went to live there.?

he was allowed unsupervised access to his own kids allowed to attend parents evenings his ex girlfriends and his ex wife dont seem to have had any problem with him doing this.

so i think its safe to say he hasn't got any previous for that anyway.

This is the thing, nugs. If he'd had any sort of a dodgy background, would he have gone to live in a tight-knit community where everyone knew each other and their business.?
Because we don't know what forensic evidence that the police have got,it's difficult judge.
Weirdo's usually get themselves swallowed up in towns or estates where there is a greater population so that they're not conspicuous.
None of his other wives/partners have come forward with anything untoward about him. Folk have said he was alright, apart from his bragging ( which is a sign of insecurity ) but isn't a crime in itself.
He kept firearms and swords, which I don't like, and if he doesn't own a licence for them,he can be charged on that alone. Nobody knows what to think at this stage, until something concrete shows itself.

well as april visted his kids from what i can see here and she had been in his car before i cant see how can find much reliable forensics because her dna could have got there anyway.

as she played with his kids it would have been easy for her dna to be transferred through them.

well from what i can see he obviously was known to the family

Yes he was known to the family but the police refused to confirm that when asked which I find odd.

If there is any truth in the following article, April had been on a day trip with the suspect and his own children in August.

I agree with Roch that the police seem super confident that they have their man.  I have no reason why they appear to be so confident as they are keeping their cards very close to their chest.

I think that the press coverage is journalist going out and about getting snippets here and there from the locals about the suspect, and we are not reading information being leaked to them by the police, which is another thing that I find odd, as that is what I would have expected.

I just hope that April is found, hopefully being kept somewhere, having not been harmed.  I live in hope, however this view would suggest an accomplice.  The thought of someone harming her in any way makes me feel ill.  Only a monster would be capable of doing such a thing.

I doubt the police believe she is alive if they have charged him with murder.  Unless it is a ploy to hold him further?
