Happy Christmas to All on the Forum
« on: December 15, 2011, 02:42:PM »
I'm going to be pretty busy over this period before Christmas, so I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year - I hope you all get what you wish for (but be careful what you do wish for  ;D).

Peace and Goodwill to all Forum members, no matter what your perspective, and let's hope this prevails for at least until the New Year - so not too long  ;)

Cheers Nick xxx

My bank never sent me a card this year. I think it was because I didn't give3 them enough money so THEY could have a happy Christmas.
Happy Christmas and a prosperous new year to everybody. ;D

Good evening all

Well done Nick! I was going to start a thread but felt it may be a little too early!

Season's greetings to one and all xx

I hate Christmas. The best time is one second past Chritmas day, because it is the furthest away from the next one. Bah, Humbug.

Christmas used to be a happy time. Now people worry about presents ect.
The religious side of it is long gone, not that I am a religious person, but I know my scripture.
I am not sure, but I don't think religion is taught in schools now. We had RI at least once a week. I don't think it was rammed down my throat, but it did teach me values, which I still hold.
If these same values were still taught then I believe we would be in a better place.
I suppose the kiddy fiddling priest are to blame for much of this.
Now kids [and adults] look at Christmas as a time for goodies, and not a time for goodness.
End of sermon, but that is my feelings. Goodwill to you all.
