I dont know the full plate only the start HEV  sounds like a 1980 plate, What became of this car , does it still exist with a V5 Jeremys car that is.

If i knew the full plate a check can be done in seconds to see if the car is still with Swansea, my gut feeling its scrapped by now .

Acar that old, especially a Citreon will have been scrapped.

My 1st car was a Citroen a Dyane 6 then M reg, some still around, i do check classic cars on ebay weekly nothing yet, i dont know the surface of pages lane for the timeframe but im thinking Jeremy would have had the suspension on high setting as in low there at the surface of a road almost, the journey he made from Goldhanger to WHF to join the police on the night .

Wasnt Jeremys car a Vauxhall Astra?

Hi Mertol, I didn't see your post, the full plate is "HEV 806T".

It was given the exhibit reference ND/12 when collected outside of Jeremy's house in Goldhanger on the 11/09/85.

Many thanks Hartley, i was not sure as the murder casebook says Jeremy met the police at WHF in the Citroen, it looks like the Astra, but the T plate should date the Citroen 1979. thanks for the info.

Yes it was definately the Astra that Jeremy drove to whf to meet the police.
