An opportunity to explain !

My name is David, I live in Tollesbury, as i have done all my life. I have recently been barred from this site, and very unfairly too.

It is NOT, nor ever has been my intention to cause trouble, but I am in contact with a longterm member and I was informed of the bullying that friend was recieving.
On this site there are/have been members who make some very wild and untrue claims, as a person who lives locally, who knows all the participants, and knew and worked with JB before and after the events at the farm, I take an interest in the goings on, wild imaginations and other peoples viewpoint.

If i can help someone I will, If im asked something I cannot answer, I will say that also. I do get a tad annoyed when confronted with members who just seem out to catch another person out - I rely on my memory and not of reams of downloaded info.

"Do I believe JB is guilty "? I am afraid I do. I am not swayed by all the 'chaff' that does the rounds, but by the mere knowledge that shelia could not of beaten her father (she was 7 stone nothing), he was 15stone and 6'3" tall - a powerful strong man.

There is the drugs element that warrants further investigation, but JB did put a friend of mine up as having done it, then named me as breaking in the caravan site with him, So if it was a drugs cartell collecting debts, "Why has'nt he ever said anything?". But i know personally a man who has worked for the Bambers/Eatons all his life, he's in his 70's now, and still swears on the drugs/lights issue.

One further point - There was only ever one silencer. there was one rifle and one silencer - No-one buys one rifle and 2 silencers. Essex police made mistakes in asmuch as they never looked further than suicide+murders. And there 'post event' activities support this.
But when murderx5 and no suicide became the status quo, they were forced to change tactics. This does NOT mean JB was set up, or evidence manufactured, it means they used suicide+murder evidence to gain a murderx5 conviction.

One further point plus one !! When JB was first arrested, "what was his excuse/explanation to the police? Was it "its not me gov its shelia ? NO Was it "its not me gov its a drug gang ? NO Was it "Its not me its the Stonemasons ? NO - It was "I paid x to do it" - X was and is a friend of mine, So why should JB try to get him involved ? Seems strange now that he has attempted to blame other things and persons now.

Horsey - I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt at this stage and accept that you are genuine in what you say.  You mention bullying on the forum.  That is something which is unacceptable to Mike Tesko and is unacceptable to the moderators.  I will do my best to prevent that happening.  As has been made clear before, different viewpoints are welcome here subject to the condition that they do not involve an attack on other forum members.

As far as the silencer issue is concerned there is clear evidence which is not disputed that there were normally two .22 rifles and 2 sound moderators kept at White House Farm.  One was the Anschutz rifle and sound moderator belonging to Nevill Bamber and the other was the Brno rifle and sound moderator belonging to Anthony Pargetter.  There is a dispute about whether the Brno rifle and sound moderator were at WHF on the night of the shootings.  There is evidence to suggest that 2 different sound moderators were examined by the Forensic Science Service at Huntingdon.  The evidence relating to this has been explained by Mike Tesko in detail elsewhere on this forum.

You are incorrect in suggesting that Jeremy Bamber named somebody else as the murderer when he was arrested.  When he was arrested and interviewed he consistently maintained his innocence and denied arranging for the murders to be committed by somebody else.  The suggestion that Matthew McDonald had been hired as a hitman is something which Julie Mugford claimed that Jeremy Bamber had told her.  Jeremy always denied this.

But the police still managed to "find evidence" that pointed to jb being guilty of pulling the trigger.

I don't think that's quite the case, they quickly established that the guilty party was either Sheila, or Jeremy, based completely on Jeremy's description of the various phone calls.

The physical evidence which points towards it being Jeremy is the silencer apparently containing Sheila's blood, therefore it could not have been Sheila and must have been Jeremy. But that silencer find and the actual blood groupings etc are hotly disputed.
