Illegal immigration levels are ridiculous HB. Needs to be stemmed. I would have the SAS take out the people smugglers. Start putting targets on their backs. I work with young asylum seekers and I do my best for them and I also like them. However, one must look at both sides of the coin. It is unsustainable in terms of infrastructure, economics etc. There must be about 30 foreign barber shops in the borough. There's a rat away somewhere.
A point me and my wife made today Roch about the Barber shops,  it cannot go on Roch,  iv'e nothing against them, but they are not coming from poverty themselves, they all have mobile phones nike trainers etc  The public are fed up to the teeth with it, leaving Europe was going to solve all this, so the Tories kept saying, take back our Country they said,  were worse off for it I'm afraid.

I agree it needs to be aimed at the people smugglers, they need to be taken out somehow,  maybe if the French become more to the right, they might help us out?

Many of the girls work in nail bars -we have as many of those as Turkish barbers in our nearest town- it seems they're paid a pittance because they have to repay the moneylenders who financed their journey here. In our tiny village the local store is run by a Bangladeshi family. It's open all hours, and they work very hard, but the outside of the building is a disgrace! It seems they send money back to their families. Their children go to school in the village and they've integrated into the community. My partner goes in for Werther's Originals and they natter about cricket!!!

Just wondering who you voted for!

Personally I don't bother myself.
No Tories left in Greater Manchester. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/full-map-general-election-results-29481244

They are a front for money-laundering and other illegal activity.

No, he's blotted his copy book with Partygate, the attempted prorogation of parliament, sending Jacob Rees-Mogg up to Balmoral to lie to the Queen and lying multiple times at PMQs. He's made his money anyway and I doubt he'll be bothered one way or the other.

I can't foresee any improvements: there's no money for housing, the gerontic population is increasing, the Rwanda scheme is "dead and buried", immigrants are doing more and more work the indolent natives should be doing, economic growth usually means stagflation under Labour, with the whole rotten edifice tumbling down circa 2029. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/keir-starmer-says-rwanda-scheme-was-dead-and-buried-before-it-began/ar-BB1pwowP?ocid=BingNewsSerp

Starmer just another WEF puppet. He'll do what ever it is that pleases Klaus and his cronies at Davos.

Interesting when you compare the the total seats, total votes and % share.  Eg

Lab: 412 seats, 9,704,655 votes, 33.7% share

Reform: 5 seats, 4,117,221 votes, 14.3% share

If the main parties don't get their acts together we might end up with PM Farage!  Maybe those advocating proportional representation might not be so keen in the future!

Patrick O'Connor, Barrister, Doughty Street Chambers: "It will have to be a slam dunk.  It will have to be something of a blockbuster piece of evidence to have a chance".

I played around with my calculator applying the election results to NZ's MMP system, as opposed to the UK's FPP system.
I know that people may vote differently under a different system. But lets assume voters voted for their preffered party without being influenced by their constituent MP. As was the case with Andrew Bridgen.
Here are the results under NZ's MMP system.

Labour = 224
Tories = 158
Reform = 95
Lib Dems =81
Greens = 46
Scottish National = 16
Sinn Fein = 7
Democratic Union Party = 5
Independent = 6
Plaid Cymru = 4
Alliance=3
Social Democratic Labour = 2
Ulster Union = 2
Trade Union Voice = 1

(Maybe a Labour/ Lib Dem / Green, coalition.)
