Susan, I imagine that they feel proud to have met their own agendas. Had they NOT done so, Julie would have had a criminal record and no career and the family would have lost out on "their" inheritance. I think that their only agenda now is making certain Jeremy stays where he is.
Hi Grahame if the rellies are afraid Jeremy will kill them on his release they must be guilty of something. If it was proved he was innocent they should be pleased and happy to hand everything back to him that was rightfully his.
What about this bit.....Even if we were persuaded that an officer visited the bank with the girls, we would be far from persuaded that it was DS Jones. The fact that he was recorded as being on a rest day suggests to us that it was unlikely that he would be at the bank. The point made by Mr Turner about alterations, in our judgment, loses force when it is appreciated that Mr Dovey was acting as manger of the branch at the time and we can see how the alterations could have come about whether Mr Dovey was present or not when his statement was drafted.
Hi april that is so sad as I am a firm believer the owner of any property/money should go to the person they want it to go to not people who think they have a divine right as they are relatives Jeremy was Ralph Bamber's son irrespective of the blood running through his veins
At the risk of sounding psychotic it sounds to me as if every shred of anything which may help Jeremy has been twisted into something other than what it originally was.
The CAO are more or less saying that Dovey is lying. Why would they need persuading that an off duty officer had gone to bank with the two girls....Its obvious that he did, the manager said so, even to the point where the officer had introduced the girls to him....then the same said officer came back to take the statement and what they go on to say or are more or less saying that Dovey's 1st initial statement is not available because it might have been conveniently destroyed....
In otherwords,Dovey's statement was destroyed as it showed that it was DS Jones that drafted and signed the statement!
Did Jones utilise his day off by taking the girls to the bank....Did Jones go back the following week to take a statement....Dovey confirms this was the same man that attended the bank with the girls....yet the COA through it out based on destroyed evidence and memory....Utter BS.......and gross misconduct.
It is awful to say this, but I have given up hope that Jeremy Bamber will ever be able to prove he did not commit those murders. As I feel right now, he will stay in prison until the day he dies. Sorry, I feel bad saying this, but his case is going nowhere and never has been even close to.There are some serious mishandlings, destruction of evidence, obvious lies etc etc which are looked upon with indifference by authorities. What chance does he stand in all this?I do believe he would stand a better chance if he had family fighting for him, but he doesn´t.The family he grew up with all work against him and don´t even consider him a family member.A sad fate.
