Wasn't Sheila at the farm in June or July? Brett said he never met her.

All they had to do was check his passport ?
I know, I did say that Lookout.  Was there a way of getting around it?

Yes I seen that Kaldin, but re read it he said he was working the fields all through July?

Yes, he did say that. He seems to be a bit of a jet setter. Perhaps he went to Greece at the beginning of August?

Just before the murders took place then?

I guess so, but I don't know. He might have meant he was here for a couple of weeks in July. We only have one interview and no other statements.

He went to Greece after/at the time of? the murders, but was clearly back to help Jeremy flog the family silver. I wonder if that's what I read? That he'd seen the murders in a paper when he was in Greece?

Well, he says he went to live at a Private persons house, no name or how long.  He never said, I went to live with such and such, this is where the police slipped up.  They just relied on his passport I think Jane.

Did he need a visa? Was there then, as now, a time restriction on the length of a stay?

I suspected him at one time strangely enough.

It's appalling. That, as it stands, can't be seen as being less than totally remiss. I suppose it's possible that someone checked and it was found to be true?

Could be Jane, but I’m convinced this was the time and planning took place.

I think that depends on his family circumstances - if he had British relatives - and if he planned to work. I know that you could go to NZ for a year without a visa at that time if you were British, so possibly it was the same the other way round.

Do be careful RJ - that could be libellous.
Im sure NGB will remove if so, posters accuse the family of being involved.

Lookout, I’ve always had the suspicion and I personally think he was behind it and gave and worked out the plan with Jeremy.  It’s made me think now without a shadow of doubt he was involved, I do know you’ve mentioned this before Lookout and thanks for your honest opinion.

I've often wondered why, if they were such close friends, he completely disappeared from Jeremy's life. I just supposed that with Jeremy in prison, there was no reason for him to stay. His potential involvement in no way exonerates Jeremy, though.
