Keira,is in Wilkes book.Unfortunately it does not state the contents of the buckets.  :(
Am gleaning new info from the book. For instance,I knew June had suffered a couple of breakdowns, but did not know that one of them was a psychotic episode (same problem as Sheila, the good versus evil thing)and underwent electric shock therapy.Interesting!

Thanks for your reply, Tyler. +1 for posting this. I must read Wilke's (Wilkes'?) book, not yet though, as I'm still working my way through Shaw's manuscript. The information about June's psychosis is very interesting too.

That is some serious stuff right there!
You have to wonder why Sheila had mental problems much like her nion-biological mother. And I wonder what happened to June to make her mentally ill.

Abs,its said that the psychotic breakdown was due to religious mania, struggling with the concept of good and evil (as with Sheila). The second nervous breakdown was said to be due to the stress of her children as teenagers and trying to cope with Nevills elderly mother. Also, helping run the farm, helping out at the church etc.She obviously had alot on her plate.

Oh,and found out why the Bambers couldnt have children. Was due to June having a cyst on one of her ovaries.Dont know why the cyst or the ovary could not be removed as she would still have had a chance of fertility with the other ovary.Dont know how much the doctors knew about things like that back then.
