-
What contact?
-
What contact?
that's what I'm trying to establish.

that's what I'm trying to establish.
Go ahead & establish.
-
well it was gringo that said it I was hopng she could go into more detail.
-
I thought Stan Jones was the treacherous one.
It seems RB did more snooping around & maneurvering than Sir Roger Moore in The Man with the Golden Gun.
-
RWB knew what strings to pull him being a Mason !
-
well acorfing to colin rwb knew what was ging to be in the papers before they came out what does that say.

It has been discussed previously on this forum and as I remember it was an extract from Colin's book. Colin relates the tale of RWB ringing him and having foreknowledge of some story about the killings in tomorrow's papers. That RWB knew this and knew what the story was about then it can be reasonably inferred that he had contact with the press.
All of this is before Fielder's unlikely tale. I am sure that the relevant passage can be located by someone and anyway is surely common knowledge.
Is anyone denying that RWB had this conversation with Colin?
-
it certainly can theres really no othr posble explanation.

I think you must mean the conversation David Boutflour had with Colin when he was meaning to speak to Anthony Pargeter but dialled Colin's number by accident. There's a reference to Colin feeling uncomfortable about the photographs in the bottom drawer of a bedroom at Moreshead Mansions because he himself had taken some explicit photographs of Sheila in a field at White House Farm in 1978 and outsiders may point the finger not knowing the context of Colin the artist, whereas Jeremy's interest was pecuniary and gloated in taking a prurient interest in them.

Can someone quote this.
I'm not sure how RB managed to persuade Brett to ring Fielder.
Or managed to persuade Fielder to keep him in the loop of future newspaper articles.
There is no evidence RB knew either person.

Certainly am denying it - it was David Boutflour that rang Colin.

I don't see how RB knowing a day in advance of future newspaper articles assists him. He & the police had already fabricated the silencer & sent it to Huntingdon.
If RB wanted more information, he had direct access to Stan Jones's phone.
-
yes theres a thread about it here.

It was nothing to do with the photograph issue anyway. David Boutflour was probably telephoning Anthony Pargeter to tell him that Bamber had been arrested.

I don't think pnly time the relatives knew in advance what the papers were going to print.

I would be more surprised if DB and other family weren't cooperating with the less reputable members of the press pack. Their harassing of EP, alleged finding of evidence, plotting against JB etc. shows that they were far from inactive in their attempts to implicate Bamber.
