Mum Urges Action On Previously Quiet Cul-De-Sac

"HAS a child got to get killed before they do anything?" That's what one mum said about Barnsley Council after her warnings that a new housing development has turned her quiet cul-de-sac into a traffic hazard.
Gemma Crookes, who lives on Fenn Road, Tankersley, said the new 20-home development had extended the cul-de-sac and meant twice as much traffic was now fighting to get through.
She said: "Fenn Road was a quiet cul-de-sac and kids got used to playing out on the street. Now they've put new pavements in, which has narrowed the road, and there are big lorries coming through delivering topsoil - they have to go up on the pavements to get past.
"The speed limit is 30mph which is much too fast for the amount of traffic now coming through."
Mrs Crookes is calling for traffic calming measures and she and other residents have voiced their fears to the police who referred them to Barnsley Council's highways department.
Mrs Crookes, who works part-time at a hair salon, said: "Highways told us there have been no accidents on the road for the last three years, and if anything happens, we have got to phone the police. Has a child got to get killed before they do anything?"
She said her eight-year-old daughter and other local children had made posters and leaflets appealing to drivers to slow down, and were delivering them door to door in Fenn Road.
"We would like 10mph signs or speed humps - at 5pm it's like the M1 here," she said.
She claimed the new estate was also putting pressure on drainage and sewage systems. "The street smells of sewage - we think a sewage pipe has been wrongly fed into a rainwater drain."
Barnsley Council said any speeding issues should be raised with South Yorkshire Police.
Cllr Roy Miller, cabinet spokesman, said: "While road safety remains a key priority for the council, we no longer have the funding available to finance physical traffic calming schemes, such as road humps.
"We will carefully monitor the area and if there does appear to be issues with speeding we will work with our police colleagues to address them.
"As to the sewerage and drainage, the new housing estate has been through the full planning process, which takes drainage into account.
"If people in the area identify specific issues they should report them to us via email at [email protected] or on 773555 and we will work with the responsible authority - be that ourselves, Yorkshire Water, or the developer - to sort them out."

For almost a year now, I have been the victim of some awful crimes, but even though I have identified people who have tried to kill me, South Yorkshire police have treated me, as a suspect, not 'a victim'. I have been prosecuted for offences I have not committed, and those who have tried to 'kill me', have been treated as the victims, when if the truth be known, they are the real suspects. The local cops are vile evil scumbags, who have treated me like shit. They do not appear to care what anybody does to me, the cops and the corrupted CPS will never prosecute the monsters who are responsible for doing these awful things to me. Whatever happenned, and whatever happens, they will always take the view that I am in the wrong...

I have more respect for my pet mongral dog, than these perverts, every last one of them - my pet, who the pervert 'threatened to kill with one strike of the baseball bat', on Sunday, the 14th August, 2016. In response, I told 'the pervert' that he couldn't kill me with the 10 strikes of the baseball bat, so what made him think he could kill my pet with a single strike of the same bat? I then told the evil vile nonce, that it makes you wonder what sort of a person who can strike a 60 year old man on the head and various parts of his body a total of 10 times, is? Cops arrested me, detained me, charged me and applied for a remand in custody. The authorities are refusing to name the CPS official who made the decision to prosecute me, and recommended that I be detained in custody, whilst the pervert and his witnesses continue to abuse the children in their care, and try to intimidate other members of my family...

Local Cops, Local CPS, Barnsley Council, and the powers that be, don't like or appreciate people like me who are thinkers. I know what 'they' are all about. 'Money for old rope', that's what they get paid for looking after the interests of the guilty, and the perverts and nonces, in society. In general, from the perspective of the poor and less well off in society, these controlling freaks administer 'injustice', rather than 'justice'. Now, imagine the red car in front of the orange van, being deliberately parked two feet out into the road so that you cannot see the rear bumper of the oranage van, with 'that' same vehicle, trying to get past without mounting the right hand kerb? Then place a bunch of kids on 'that' part of the pavement, and explain how vehicles are supposed to get past without encroaching on the pavement? Don't try to insinuate that the fat man did nothing wrong in getting kids to stand there after he moved his red car further out into the road...

The fat man, placed the minors in harms way, by moving his red car further out into the middle of the road, thus narrowing the road forcing any vehicle coming up or going down that part of the street to have to mount the kerb, where he stationed the young kids - now tell me if that isn't a case of putting young kids in harms way?

This gang of perverts who are putting young children in harm's way on a daily basis, use cameras and mobile phones to take footage of motorists having to mount the kerb because fat man deliberate has his old scrap orange van mounted on rusty ramps half on the left hand pavement, half on the public highway, so that there is insufficient room for a mother pushing a baby in a pushchair along the path on that side of the road. Then fat man manoeuvres his red car at the rear of the orange van so that it sits further out than the back of his scrap van, forcing other road users who are going about their lawful business to have to mount the kerb of the footpath on the opposite side of the road. Usually, once these neighbours from hell have got their own vehicles in and out of the way, they use the kids to cause havoc by playing in the road on scooters and bikes, quite often veering out just in front of drivers trying to go about their lawful business. If they are not being deliberately put up to these measures by the neighbours from hell, the kids are either sat or laid in the road, or sat or laid on the kerb of the footpath whilst their parents stand idly by, smirking, or laughing, or dropping their trousers...
There is only one way into and out of the street for many residents who live above where these neighbours from hell live at No.15 on one side of the road, and No.8 on the other...
