Why not ?

I don't know if he made that statement or not, and I care even less. What does it have to do with who killed the family. Nowt!

Because it throws a bad light on the family by saying that--------as though they were only there for the money. He does say that in an interview btw.

It may do, but balance that against what they've achieved.....................and to the best of my knowledge there's never been a whisper of anything untoward about them, OTHER than that their nephew/cousin murdered his family. You'd be very surprised at how infrequently it's remembered in these parts now. life have moved on apace in the last 30 years.
