Some people believe that a hired hitman killed the Bamber family. I can´t see it happening. First of all Jeremy would have made sure to have an airtight alibi - he didn´t have that.
Secondly, can you imagine standing outside that house, knowing there are three adults in there? There are FIVE people you have to kill - an overwhelming task, right! For 2000 £. I am not buying it.
Same goes for Jeremy doing it. It would have seemed as overwhelming to him to do ALONE.
If you choose to believe that Jeremy is the guilty one, isn´t the most likely scenario that he had an accomplice?

thats sounds a bit far fetched.

I go for sheila on her own killing the other 4 ...as the basis.
The only alternative would be for some people other than JB acting as a group to carry out the plot ...ppl who knew the house and people in it very well and also with a desire to kill JB by luring him there..
HOWEVER ...it falls flat on its face when reasoned through...and that as with JB not being the killer it leaves an alive Sheila still touring the house and no traces of entry and exit or footprints etc etc etc.
When it comes down to it...the evidence for Sheila killing the other 4 is extensive ...the muddy waters begin when the police enter the house , screw it up bigtime and in trying to cover their own backsides stitch JB up.
Now if we have the initial cover up ..being Sheila's suicide from a single bullet wound...story..all goes well blah blah...with pathologist , doctors and others all compromised by going along with it.
along comes the X family who discover through one of their contacts that more than one bullet was involved in Sheilas death.....
That puts the X family in a strong position.
For how long were non police officers unaware that Sheila had more than one bullet wound?

i cant see jeremy bamber haveing the contacts to hire a hitman.

And ended up killing herself? Or are you suggesting Jeremy killed her after she did her bit of the killings?
I can´t see that scenario. I don´t think that Sheila could have killed/let Jeremy kill her children.
However, I do think that Sheila could have killed her children if she acted alone in a schizophrenic/paranoid state. She DID tell her doctor that she thought they were the Devil´s children and that they were capable of having sex with her. That is highly disturbing. Some alarms should have sounded right there and then!
