Why was body of Ralph Bamber as far away as possible from the other victims?
According to the official version of events as promoted by EP, Ralph Bambers body was found as far away as possible from the location where the bodies of the other four victims were allegedly found?
Doesn't this come across as being somewhat strange, considering his alleged closeness to Sheila, and the fact that his two grandchildren were in danger of being shot and attacked, not to mention the obvious threat to his wife, June?
Why was Ralph's body isolated from the others?

Might it have been because Ralph was the hardest to put down? He may therefore have been the most mobile and / or the least taken by surprise. If the killer was Sheila, might he have attempted to negotiate with Sheila? That might mean following her to where the ammo was. It has been said by your self that ammo may have been loaded from kitchen bench area. When i say negotiate, I'm thinking of their close relationship as opposed to the tension alleged of Sheila towards June.

Isn't it established that Nevill came down stairs to confront an intruder and fought with him on the stairs ending up in the kitchen where the conveniently place rifle was sitting on the table.

Yes, there is a lot to ponder upon...

First, I thought the rifle was supposedly on the settle, which was not in the kitchen.
Sorry, Mike, to answer your question with a question; but I have heard numerous times that Ralph Bamber kept a gun under his bed. Was the gun under the bed when the bodies were found?

No, it was found in the gun cupboard, it had Sheila's and Ralph's fingerprints upon it...

When police found it in the gun cupboard, they removed it and lent it against the wall next to the cupboard door - it had got a kitchen marigold glove over the bottom of its wooden butt...

I still haven't seen anything to indicate that Sheila's prints were on that gun.
