New Poster here.
Jeremy never mentioned this in his Police statements and Trial, yet interviews with the media he does. Anyone know why this important point wasn't mentioned in his original statements or was this another cover up too?

What interviews Dale?
-
What interviews Dale?
BBC and an American Media company

Do you have a link for these?

could you post a link to the articles you are referring to dale

Do you have a link for these?
Why not it's the truth and kept very quiet by his supporters and lawyers in his fight for freedom.
In one interview he says one bullet was heard when his father called and another one he says two with a Weekly World News reporter...

In the early hours of 7 August 1985, a caller giving his name as Jeremy Bamber rang Chelmsford Police Station.
He said he was ringing from his home in Goldhanger, Essex, where he had just had a call from his father saying: "Your sister's gone crazy and she's got a gun."
After the sound of a shot, he said the line had gone dead.
Hours later armed officers broke into White House Farm and found the carnage.

thats not him giveing an interview.

thats not him giveing an interview.
He gave the interview it was reported on tv the same day i watched it myself. Why would they have printed that if he hadn't of said it?

That unfortunately is what is known as Journalistic licence. ;D You said he said it in an interview? Have you got a link to that interview please? The press have said a lot of things but it doesn't mean they happened.

And there is nothing being kept "quiet" by JB's supporters.

He gave an interview from prison?

Don't take it to heart you probably didn't know but it was said.

i'll find the reporters name and you can ask him yourself if you don't believe the report, It's there in black and white.
-
and why hasnt this reporter printed the story.
would they really have gone to the bother of interviewing somebody then not printed the story.
-
Here's one link I'm still looking for any others.

Despite the descrepancies in the police logs regarding the time of the 'phone call', none of them mention that a shot had already been fired otherwise the firearms team would have been at the scene immediately, surely?

Yes, it is written by a reporter. That doesn´t mean Jeremy actually said that - reporters mis-quote and plain make up things to sexy up their stories.
If you can link directly to JB actually saying that, I will buy it, of course.

You've never been interviewed by the press or TV companies then, Dale? I have, several times. Each time they manage to completely distort what I'd said. Press reports are rarely reliable.

About 75 times i have yes and sometimes they do thats true but you can always sue if they lie.

I can't seem to turn up any other links. But it doesn't mean they don't exist?

Then you should know better than to rely on reports in the media. Such reports are so renowned for unreliability that they would never be accepted as evidence by a court.
As for suing the media companies, wealthy people can sue, Dale, but most ordinary people can't afford or don't have the inclination.
I wouldn't imagine Jeremy Bamber can afford to sue the many newspapers or television companies that have misquoted or misreported him over the years him as his inheritance went to the family and he's been forced to pour all of the money he had into fighting for justice.

There's this link to a US paper I think he was talking about. Very sensationalist and full of inaccuracies including that the police waited till dawn (hmmm 7.30am in August?)

This report states:
"In the living room was the body of Bamber's 61-year-old father
Nevill, shot eight times and beaten"
They aren't quoting Jeremy then, are they? Nevill was found in the kitchen and he was shot seven times.
There you go then, Dale. Press reports just cannot be relied on.

Why did you said this on a different thread? ("Proof that the CCRC haven't gone back on their Word"):
"In your own words Grahame. The press have said a lot of things but it doesn't mean they happened."
??!!

Well found, sarann +1

But it does say that Sheila ran back upstairs and shot her mother June.... then laid down on the bed beside her and turned the gun on herself
it does but that's what Bamber had told them in the interview on what he thinks that happened.

Who says JB was interviewed by them?
Me, because it was on the bbc news that same evening.

Do you work for the BBC or something?

He doesn't mention shots in his audio interview, and the US newspaper doesn't say that they interviewed him
no, but does in the report and on the tv at the evening in an interview with him.

so dale why cant you post a link to the tv interview.

That is extremely interesting Dale as he seems to have forgotten about such an important and crucial piece of evidence. It also seems in this interview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWFCvXNAlPA) recently obtained from Jeremy that he also forgets telephoning Julie Mugford too?
Could that be that he has just corroborated Julie's evidence by default in that the call to her was made even before the call to his home from White House farm?
-
its not evedence as we have yet to even see it we dont even know if tv interview exists yet.
-

ive still not seen anything to prove he ever said this only a few people claiming he said it no proof at all.
how come this alleged bbc tv interview cant be linked to is it becouse it dosent exist.

He mentions calling her just at the beginning sandy.

Yes but that doesn't mention any interview with him unfortunately. Dale said it was an interview. I've looked high and low but can't find it?

There will be an interview but I suspect it is not on the net.
-
and why would it not be on the net.
everything else about him is.
would something as damming as that not be put on the net.
-
Because it does not exist !!!!! and likely the poster claiming it is just a troublemaker using multi id's to stir things up..
-
Most TV news reports are not available on the www.
-
you can most them on youtube particlary ones on the bamber case.
i cant believe a tv interview with a convicted killer would not be online.
-
There seems to be a complete dearth of any evidence which relates to hearing actual gunshots. The police certainly never reported hearing gunshots which would rule out Sheila shooting herself when they were present in the house.
-
You didnt here that gunshot...NOW DID YOU
erm... that gunshot just now guv....no I didnt hear it and neither did any of the rest of the lads hear that gunshot we all just heard
And as long as none of us mentions that gunshot so no one asks us ..then we wont have to lie if we dont get asked about it.
we can always say we dont think we did or we thought it was something else etc if we do get asked eh lads...
-
Clouding the issue has no relevance whatsoever. Fact is nobody heard any gunshots after the police and Jeremy arrived at the house. Ask Jeremy?? ;)
-
its going to be hard to ask him i dont think he gets online much.
-

Not at all, his many supporters can ask him but I have no doubt they already have.

At 1.05 its got the footage where Bamber looks like a soccer casual.
At about 1.20 there is also original footage with television reporter covering the case. Listen to what he says about shots being heard

That´s just reporters for you. This one is talking about neighbours hearing shots. No neighbours heard anything, right?

No neighbours alerted the police or were called as witnesses to my knowledge.

i didn't know they had any neighbors

You cant read too much in to what a television reporter says. You could if you wanted to, infer that...
The reporter has spoken with the police prior to filming his report.
The shots were loud enough to be heard (no silencer)
The police either believe or know it is a suicide
Somebody / police heard shot/s during the incident
Or it could simply be the way that the reporter has worded his report, making assumptions that the shots were loud enough to reverberate over distance and simply regurgitating the then official line, that it was Sheila who had carried out the killings and turned the gun on her self.
