Title: Occupants of CA07 at Witham police station at 3.20am, left for whf at 3.39am...

I am currently sat of my sofa with a copy of PC Myalls notebook entries covering the morning of 7th August 1985, in my hands...

It mentions that at 1.30am, the same day, that he was on foot patrol in the company of PS 36, and PC 1995, on some Industrial Estate, unconnected with the incidents at whf, and that at 3.20am, he was present at Witham police station. He then records that at 3.39am, that in patrol car CA07, together with PS 36 / PC 1995 they went to whf. Now this is very interesting because elsewhere it is recorded that the occupants of CA07 did not leave Witham police until 3.35am, producing a four minute discrepancy. I make the point of highlighting this different around the timing when patrol car set off to the scene, because based upon accurately recorded notes in PC Myalls pocketbook, which were notes recorded contemporaneously, police set off to the scene after Jeremy made his call to police at 3.36am, not before as previously believed...

This difference of four minutes in time (3.39am, rather than 3.35am) makes a huge difference in the case, because the former time of 3.35am, places departure from Witham police station prior to Jeremys 3.36am call which he made to police, whereas the time police set off to tge scene at 3.39am, places the departure of the same, afterwards. To my mind, it makes more sense for the timibg of the departure from Witham police station to have taken place at 3.39am, since it suggests by reference to this timing that they set off to go to the incident at whf responding to Jeremys 3.36am call to police...

However, the odd thing about PC Myalls pocketbook entries, are that none of the pages upon which the details are recorded have page numbers, which suggests that these notes were re-written later in a notebook which was not an official police issue notebook...
