There have been several threads highlighting that Jeremy's best option was to create the siege situation. However people still say he could have created the fake robbery.
There are lots of disadvantages of this:
He could not insinuate Sheila. Something he has been doing for 30 years.
He would still be first on the scene anyway. Threads created.
He would have to take something from WHF. Or several things. Taking several journeys to WHF after the massacre. Risking the chance of being seen or heard.
Robbers are not usually killers. Especially of women and children who are sleeping.
He could not claim Neville phoned.
Robbers rob houses they believe are empty.
The relatives would still suspect Jeremy. And he would still tell Julie.
A robber had to find a quiet way into WHF. Something Jeremy liked to keep secret from the police.
If the robber did not take anything it would look suspicious.
Jeremy dumping valuable items means less for him. The fire plan was dropped partly for this reason.
Dumped items may be found.
Julie never said this was an option Jeremy considered. Even he is not that stupid.
He could not create the siege and 'Crazy Sheila' situation.
There would be no sightings of mysterious men in the area. As there were not any.
Brutal farm robberies are very rare.
I could find 40 reasons. Like I did for Neville's call recently.
Do other people believe a fake robbery plan is a bad idea ?

A better idea than staging a two shot murder as suicide - by far.
You are flooding this board with threads. You could just have discussed this in the thread where it is already discussed. You create more than 50% of the threads here. If there were two members here, you and someone else, that would be fair enough, but as it is, you are flooding the board.

There is a recent thread on why Sheila was shot twice.

I see no one is sticking up for the 'fake robbery' theory put forward by another poster.
Oh sorry I forgot. It was not a fake robbery. Just a stranger entering WHF and massacring everyone. Leaving the front door open. No one will suspect Jeremy. Will they ?
