if jeremy used that silencer to kil his family then he knows exactly whose blood is inside the silencer and he knows that further tests will prove that so why is he asking for the tests.
-
He's not asking for tests. It was destroyed in 1996. Probably because there was no blood left to test.
There was no dispute during the trial about the blood. However after the 1989 appeal was dismissed, Jeremy spent years trying to discredit the testing technique used on the silencer.
There were further tests done, which showed even more conclusively it was Sheila's blood.

The link from alias on the shotgun thread is interesting - it explains it a bit.
-
if he had used that slincer then he would surely that further testing of it would only confirm his guilt.
-
I don't think I'd want,or have wanted anything testing or scrutinised if I'd been the murderer.!?
-
well the last at an appeal is further evedence of your guilt.

I don't think you are correct . If it was destroyed how did they do the DNA testing - where apparently they found Junes DNA and not Sheilas?

I don“t think the silencer or the rifle have been destroyed.

I believe the further tests were for DNA? Which were inconclusive.
-
and jeremy was asking for further tests.

Tests were impaired because of contamination. They should NEVER have been allowed a mention.
