Well for a start he had a string of convictions including violence - so saying he was not a likely suspect is not true.
Apparently a lot of witnesses were very frightened of him.

He did lie a lot ( he said he panicked) about his alibi and the gold necklace.

I think also at the 2006 re-trial they were aware that the lovers husband had known about the affair - but I don't think they were aware of with held DNA evidence or the full message from the informant.

but at the end of the dna doesnt lie.

and none of the dna belongs to him.

i dont know why they printed that he had no history of violence when its easy to check weather its true or not it dosent hes case much good to print things that are not true.

This is a very disturbing case al round . All the adults involved seemed to have very strange lives and involvements and the person found guilty seemed to lie through his teeth - I am not even sure I believe what he said about the chain .

But how can an officer loose all that time on patrol and then when he attended the crime scene go of duty without reporting it as murder? It beggars belief?

Apparently her lover / the wife of the officer  tried to commit suicide and then was admitted for reports when she found out about the murders.

Those poor children - that's all I can say.

maybe he had another reason for lying

maybe he had another reason for lying

apparently he was scared of his partner finding out he had been with the victim - because his partner was violent.

paints a lovely overall picture.

at the end of the day i would go with dna over character i mean theres a lot of wrongfull convictions were the moj victim wasn't exactly an angel.
