how we all voting in afew weeks time?

I'm not a Scot. Judging by the ensuing panic at Westminster, I wouldn't be suprised if there was an attempt at vote rigging somewhere, to achieve a 'No' vote.
I'm not sure what's best for Scotland financially in the long term but I wouldn't begrudge them independence. In fact I think it would be hilarious and a massive F.O. to the crooked cabal of people in charge of the UK.

Hi Roch
Scotland should stay in the union they will not survive too well out with it and we are doing OK as we are. Don't think they will get the Yes vote anyway.
-
I have no vested interest in whether Scotland stays or goes, since I don´t live in either place; but on an emotional level, I would like the union to remain.
From my (shallow) viewpoint, as long as the kilts, unicorns, bags and drums remain, I am happy! ;D
Just saw a poll 47% Yes 53% No. It is close, very exciting.

You take the Low Road, and I'll take the High Road...

I'm expecting a NO vote, which I think will be best for Scotland and the rest of the U.K.
On a side note, I'm involved in a bet - I have NO vote and my friend has YES vote. £100 per point ahead. So if a YES votes comes in and DESTROYS the NO vote, I shall be withdrawing a lot from the bank!!!
Feel pretty sure it will be a CLOSE vote though.

Hi Mat think your money is safe what worries me would mine be if Scotland got a Yes vote. Guess it will be very close but I will not be sitting up to watch the results ;D

When this referendum was first announced, I was desperate that the Scots would reject the idea. Now that it's become apparent that so many of them, even if not the majority, want to leave, I'm not so sure that it's a good idea, that they stay.

I don't necessarily understand all of the ramifications, but I love change, even if it doesn't work out at first, the two nations would figure it out eventually.
It would almost be a let down now if we all stayed the same. Although I'm sure people far better informed than I, will tell me it's a bad idea. :-\
