Susan, that's WONDERFUL news :)
-
Thanks Susan, at least people will finally know I exist, and that I am a writer and author. Yes, my book IS coming out next year. It WILL have an ISBN and it will also be in hardback. Yes, it's a new angle, but please don't expect me to give anything away, it would only spoil the surprise. A Free Library article exists on the net, it has inaccurate quotes and content so don't take that as gospel, unless you hear it from me, ignore it. Especially the stuff that was posted on here earlier this year, about a certain Mason Doyle, who, by the way, is none other than my long deceased pet dog who I still miss!
For the record, my research has taken me from New Zealand to Canada to USA, and yes, I've interviewed and made contact with many. I lived in Essex for over a decade so know the ground very well. I'll post more about publication date closer to the time.

Hi Girls

Thanks Patti, it's taken a long time to get this far! :D
I know the feeling :) I've been writing my book for over 10 years....I doubt I will ever get to the finishing stage, but the story is based on true events set in the 1700's..
This is a bit of it....lol
We begin with Richard William Goulding, the chief Librarian to His Grace the Duke of Portland. The son of a book seller. (1868-1929) Goulding became a distinguished antiquary on obscure biography and local history. From the beginning to the end of his life he entertained everyone with his charm, warmth, wit and everlasting friendship to those who encircled him. He captured his audience in an instance with his friendly presence and his amazing gift of being in control of his listeners. The majority of his work is safeguarded in the Lincolnshire archives and Louth Museum. His continuous labour made him a prominent gentleman of his time, he achieved notoriety not only for being a great historian, but a naturalist too. Goulding must have been very intrigued with the Mussendine/Esberger family, and went to great lengths to discover the Journal’s existence, it was written by the great doctorin 1764 “known locally as the Prussian Doctor,“ of Marshchaple, Frederick Christain Esberger, who’s name for the rest of my sequence of events shall be known as Christian.
And another bit...But its all true and this man was my 7th times great grandfather....
Honoured Sir
About four months a goe I was hired by a sertain person at the City of Bristoll who went by the name of
Musgrave to be his servant for one year and told me that he did design to travel through Germany and did bring me this far into this Country as Westerhousen whare the King of Prussia then was and at the same time Did. as I have been since informed tell his majesty that he had agreed with me to serve his said majesty for the sum of twenty pounds which is most notorious false and did also at the same time inform his said majesty that my name was Johnson. The truth of which may be known by enquiring after me at the town of Marsh Chappell near Grimsby in Lincolnshire whare I was born. I have since I find my self this betrayed several times applied my self to his said majesty to let me goe but all in vain. I therefore do most humbly intrate your honour would be so good to intersaidin my behalf as I am a native of the Kingdom of England and can claim the advantage of a subject there. I hope your honour will be plaised to take this my lamentable case into consideration and shall for you and yours ever forsay and your honours most obedient and most humble servant.

Hi Paul am so excited about your book, the fact you are looking at everything from a different angle is really tantalising but we will have to be patient and hang on a little longer.
Am a bit late to the party as have been standing in the cold and rain watching fire works with the grand kids. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
AH....revealed at last!! Wonder if those that doubted there was an upcoming book will now be big enough to apologise? No,I doubt it too! Poor Ray Hollingsworth, got it sooo wrong by rubbishing the fact that there was an upcoming book AND got led up the garden path by Simon Hall. Best give up your day job Ray and stick to your night time antics ;)
Lovely to see you on the forum Paul :)
-
Sandra Lean will be feeling a little let down over SH,too. Perhaps she should have substituted it for Jeremy instead.

Some of those fireworks are like incendiary bombs. The place rattles when they go off, they're awful things. Another one sounded like a cicada, which wasn't so bad.
-
Hi Mason, been out all day and missed all the excitement and the grand reveal. Never doubted that you were real ;)

. . . permission at last to disclose the name of the Author of the next Jeremy Book.
This has essentially been known since 21st July, when this article (http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Book+cop+I'll+show+Bamber's+innocent.-a0337437563) appeared in the Sunday Mail.

That must be the article Mason is referring to here:

Maybe what was meant was that his name had not been openly posted on the forum until now. BTW Paul, the best of luck in all endeavours. I hope you can expose exactly what these people have done and got away with. It is sickening that they are still getting away with it.

Only if you google Paul Harrison. Essentially nobody knew who Mason Doyle was.

I hope this book will unearth a can of worms?

Not so, as it was already asserted on this forum that Mason Doyle is a former police officer. If you use Bamber, book and "former policeman" together as search terms, Google returns the article I mentioned as the top hit.

So why didn't you mention this before?

ill look forward to reading it is it out yet.

Early next year apparently?
-
It's apparently due out in 2014. I have no idea whether it will consider mike tesko's latest revelation (that, on careful inspection, a photograph provided by an informant shows Sheila on the bed together with a sound moderator just visible as well). In reply to Grahame, the matter wasn't raised before and most people here have seemed happy to refer to Mason Doyle.

Hi Reader from what MD posted yesterday evening I believe it will be written from a new and very interesting angle. So looking forward to reading it. :)

Hi Reader. I don't think it will refer to anything like that disputed photograph? As Maggie said it will look at things from a completely fresh angle. I'm going to order it as soon as it has been published.
-
I agree Grahame. Paul has told us the book will be factual and so unless he has seen evidence that the photo exists,I doubt it will be discussed? I may be wrong but I'm led to believe that the book will mainly focus on the police investigation into the murders. Paul has told us that he has interviewed many many people involved with the case for the purpose of his book. Will be interesting to see if he has gleaned anything new. To say I'm looking forward to the book is an understatement!

I'm hoping that he'll take a deeper look into Sheila's illness than has previously been done.

We can't rule out the possibility that mike tesko's informant was one of those people interviewed.

That informant doesn´t impress me much.

But if the informant showed Mason Doyle the photograph, could that be ignored?
