Surely not the enigmatic Zulu!

I'm trying to be diplomatic,,but was there any reason for removing Campions' and my post from this morning.? I'll understand if there was a valid reason, but it has left me wondering why,as there was nothing untoward in either posts.?
I can't do this by pm as I don't know who or why. One minute they were there, the next they were gone.

My word,,count moths indeed. I thought I was ready to receive the white van. I had connected this thread to Mikes' " visit " today to Full Sutton.( York/Yorkshire.) It shows how the mind works. Then gathered he may have wanted to keep this thread " free ".

I was actually multi-tasking,i.e,feeding the cat, making myself a cuppa, making sure it wasn't raining on my neighbours washing and trying to keep up with Emmerdale. ;D ;D ;D ;D So I was otherwise occupied.

The cat just strolled in about 3 months ago and adopted me. Same colour as my other one, which is weird. It must belong to someone, but everyone I know has asked around. It answers to " puss " because I'm still prepared for its owner to claim it,that's why I haven't given it a name.

Ditto, Lookout.. ESP the cloud formations and the Cryptic buildings.
Are you familiar with 'White Sheep', the poem by Christina Rossetti?
Please look it up on U-tube to see the significance.

Guy Fawkes' house (where he was born) in York.  It's now a pub and I was in there a couple of weeks back also.

In the clouds shown in one of the pictures, one can find a face, and one of its eyes is quite realistic.

Really Naughty Nun, One can only hope that Reader shares your s.o.h.! I shall refrain from alluding to what is said about sarcasm.
Do you recall what your Sister Nun said whilst riding her bicycle along one of York's cobbled streets, near the Minster?

Hi Roch,,it's an old family surname of ours that runs along from Hadrians' Wall into Northumberland ( Northumbria ) as it was in Roman Times. As well as the pub,,there's an old fort ( the ruins ) named after the family as well.
An old uncle of mine who was a historian, gave me all kinds of information regarding this. Uncle reckoned that the name was inscribed in one of the stones along the wall, but I've never checked that out.

There's some ruins near me called Arbeia.  On the wall side of the Tyne there are Vindolanda and Segedenum but I think you are referring to one of the settlements further west.  I have a name in my head of which one.

Name is as I thought.  Not been there but walked passed the actual fort back in Feb, in the tyne valley.  It looked impressive from what I could see.

It's near Chollerford (Hexham).  West of Newcastle in the Tyne Valley.

Never been to the pub in Sunderland but I used to hear it was a popular watering hole.
