He will, he always does.  Hartley takes a break from the forum from time to time, then returns refreshed and ready for battle!

Thinking about it Lookout, but might be a tad selfish if you know what I mean. The stress over the last few years have really got to me, you know what I am on about and I really need a break, somewhere warm, where I can have total solitude.

Yeah, he might come back as Lurpak....lol  :) :) :) :)

Good God,I don't think you're selfish,Patti. You go somewhere nice and warm for a week or so,it'll do you good. Where Mike is,is nice and warm at this time of the year, then you can go to those gardens up the slope,in Blanes, that I was telling you about.A bus takes you to the top,it's beautiful.

I wasn't a million miles away from there nearly 2 years ago now.Was in Villamoura with brother for the weekend. Didn't even think of PDL while I was there, busy drinking champers instead. Weather was nice though. If I hadn't got the old cat,I'd have joined you,but my " catsitter " is in Oz now,and the other one works funny hours here and would probably forget about it altogether. It'd be stiff.!

Lol................Oh Lookout you can be so so funny, I love your dry sense of humour. There isn't enough laughter around these days, it is all doom and gloom.   :D :D :D

The price of petrol floored this morning, it is now £1.37 a gallon at Sainsbury's  only last week it was £1.28...It will soon be cheaper to hire the space shuttle....ha!  How can they arrant such a drastic rise when the price of oil has dropped.  I do think there is an official inquiry being done by Ofsted.  :-\ :-\ :-\

That means that everything else will go up,,as a rise in petrol prices has a knock-on effect. How the devil do they think that the economy will get back on track.?
Bicycles all round, then like the MP, we can shout things to the police, like " effing plebs " such as he did. Those are the type of politicians we have running the country.God help us.
Saying that,I'm alright,Jack,,I've got my bus pass. If I was paying,it would cost in excess of £3 for 4 stops,,both there and back. Country's gone mad altogether. Unless you're a politician or a banker.

Hi Patti  come to the Highlands and pay £1.41 for petrol and central heating oil 72per litre and we grow out own oil in the North Sea. :)

You are right of course, petrol does have a knock on effect, not only on business, but on people that visit places in our Country that put money back into our economy.  This is the sort of thing that is suffering at the moment.  We have seen all the pubs close down, now we will see all small businesses fail....because travel is so important and why our government sits there, it does not help matters....One must not blame them of course, because it is not the government's business, they are not the ones in charge of oil....Ha!  :) :) :) :)

Susan, how do they warrant such a price...it infuriates me! Only well off people can afford to travel...Is it done in order to make us take alternative travel, do you think....Mind you my son has got my car for the day, so If I wanted to go anywhere, I couldn't, so I should stop moaning...lol  :) :) :) :)

Yey! And the body stretcher.  When I was about 12 we had a geography teacher who was called Mr Kirk. He was a tall chap, at a guess I would say about 6ft 6.....

I was sat at the back of the class with the boys lol and a lad who remains a good friend to this day put his hand up!

" Sir was you stretched in the war"  Well the whole class started laughing and, the lad was sent for caning.....I got sent to stand in the corridor!  ;D ;D ;D

Ive not watched it as im watching the series from series 1 ,currently near end of season 8 where Bobby is run over by mad Pamela s sister , expecting in series 9 for him to be in the shower pam dreamed it all, i see Ken Kercheval is in the new series as Cliff Barnes , Linda Gray looks good.this series will most likely be bought , still have 5 seasons to watch.

Linda Gray must be the best-aged actress in history - and seemingly without too much artificial help
