On 8th, 9th, and 10th September 1985, Detective Sergeant, Terence Martin Lunn, took possesion of many exhibits from the scene at whf, in particular, TML/1 a tablet bottle from the top right drawer of dressing table in main bedroom, and a second tablet bottle, TML/2, from the top left drawer...
These were conveyed to the scenes of Crime Dept. at Southend...
-
Why take all these carpet fibres from all over whf and what did they do with these?
-
Well, at least we now know that key exhibits and photographs were taken to different SOC Departments, such as Chelmsford, and Southend...
Gives everyone a better insight into why so much evidence and material went missing...
-
Is that a score through all the items were taken, sealed and labelled?
-
I wonder what medication was inside these tablet bottles, and if any trace of these were found in the toxicolgy sampkes taken from Sheila, June or Ralph Bamber?
-
Is it known what the contents of the tablet bottles were?

Crossposted, I was just thinking about that.

wouldet this have allredy shown up in the toxicology reports.

Yes, done at some stage after the said exhibits were taken, and the witness ststement was drafted up on 6th October 1985...
Looks like some sort of cover up or concealment of evidence been going on here. I mean, DS Lunn takes possession of these exhibits on 8th September 1985, he labels them, places it all in sealed bags, and a month later he writes out a witness statement in his own handwriting, then decides to cross out the bit about all the exhibits he seized a month earlier being sealed...
Something dodgy been going on here/there then...
-
Look at all the locations whete DS Lunn takes all the carpet fibres from?
-
I'm interested in the bathroom carpet exhibits, but it is not clear which bathroom they are from, upstairs or downstairs... :o :o :o :o

Going in sequence, I'd suggest that TM/10 onwards are upstairs.
There is a toilet and a bathroom upstairs, the ground floor bathroom seems to be referred to in this document as the 'shower room', which would be more accurate anyway, as it contains a shower and not a bath.

That's right Hartley, well spotted.... 8)
I would be interested in exhibits TML/18 to TML22
I wonder if there is any results from them? :-\ :-\ :-\

I'm not sure, if there was anything which assisted the defence then I'd expect to have heard about it by now, especially considering that 'ritual washing' was put forward by the defence as an early explanation of Sheilas apparently clean state.

I'd like to see the results Hartley if there is any. There must have been reason the samples were taken in the first place? :-\ :-\
