I read recently that on the morning of the shootings Essex Police invited sundry personnel to the farm for training purposes, whilst the bodies were still in situ, for Heaven's sake.
Would anyone (Mike??) care to comment/supply confirmation of this? Apologies if this has been covered in a previous thread, I'm working my way s-l o-w-l-y through the forum postings.

Yes, two groups of additional firearms officers went into the farmhouse to carry out re-enactment of the original operation, with a view to pinpoint mistakes made by original group of firearms officers, who had gone into the farmhouse, at about 7:30am. The first group of additional officers were inside the farmhouse for about 22/24 minutes, between 9am, and 9:22am, and a further group of additional firearms officers went into the building between 10:35am and 11:35am (whilst bodies were still in situ)...
The fingerprints from these additional officers were taken for elimination purposes, which is well documented, and which helps to identify these additional armed officers - it is surprising that none of the other police officers who attended the scene in an official capacity, do not mention anything at all about these other additional firearms officers being at the scene, let along that they actually went inside the farmhouse to carry out covert operations there with the bodies still in situ...

There is just no proof of this allegation whatsoever - not that I've seen anyway.

You haven't seen any yet, but how do you know none exists?

I've seen this talked about a lot, so if there is evidence of it I'd like to see it, otherwise there's no point in discussing it, and there's no point in you claiming it happened.

Bah, that's a bit weak. There's no evidence of the aliens involvement either, but how do you know none exists?

+1!

Yes.. If all cases were based on evidence that MAY turn up then no convictions would ever be made.
The options as I see it are...
a) You either have the evidence to back up what you say.
b) Know that the evidence exists to back up your theory
c) None of the above but with a little poetic licence and immagination I'm sure that's what happened.
Seriously, is there evidence (and since you don't know what is held in the earlier police file regarding Sheila suicide, stating it is possible in there takes us back to Area 51)
-
It's actually quite a serious allegation, and it should really be backed up with evidence.
-
It is so shocking that this operation could have been sanctioned, I really don't see the logic in it at all why would the carry out such a clear tampering of evidence. If they had gathered all possible evidence, removed all the bodies and maybe when the keys were returned have asked the family would it be possible to use the house as a training or simulation it wouldn't be that bad as it seems their officers were not used to these kind of situations, but the bodies were dead when the carried out this op, why could they not have waited and used dummies as they knew where the bodies were found "allegedly"instead of tampering with what clearly was evidence. As regards the movement of Sheila's body could this have been done by the trainees incorporating different scenarios?

Blimey! even they're in on it now. ???

Apart from how it must have messed up the crime scene and aided the cover up....
It shows that EP had no respect for the victims or the victims family to act as they did .
Truly disgusting how they acted like they did.

The Police including the fire arms response teams were there to respond to a crime; for all they knew at the time possibly risking their own lives. No doubt the officers have been very traumatised by the results of Bamber's work and for you to call them disgusting and having no respect is unfounded and a typical example of your pathetic non reasoning.
Smiffy are you gay by any chance? Bamber has lost his looks you know!
According to JB they responded to Bews call of help when he rushed back to the the patrol car after he saw a "trick of light" in the bedroom window. ;)

As support for the contention that some other firearms teams visited the property for a training exercise it should be mentioned that one of the police logs on this forum mentions a firearms seminar that was supposed to take place that very day, the 7th, was cancelled ...persumably as a substantial portion of those meant to attend were involved at whf.
It figures that some of those gathered or supposed to gather for it paid a "training visit" to whf.
