Ok. It was a light hearted comment, that if we were to indulge in some intellectual debate and banter, id fancy my chances against you. It wasn't a challenge!

So would I.....I cut my hand open last night, trying to bash a coconut. I poked it's three eyes out emptied the milk, put in a cloth and hit it with my rolling ping about 20 times. Did it break? No! So I googled how to get into a coconut....
Put in oven 400 for 15 minutes and it breaks the shell.....No way was I wasting 15 minutes of electric on a 50 pence coconut. Next! Hold coconut in hand keep bashing it with a hammer and turn it at the same time....I'll give that a go I thought....Smack! Smack! Smack! Smack! Ochhhhhhhhhhhh! The flipping thing cracked and at the same time snagged the palm of my hand.....Blood all over the place....had to have a paramedic....lololol :) :) :)

Ouch! Bet that hurt! You could try taking it outside and wedging it between two stones next time - unless you've lost the taste for coconuts? Much easier to open a Bounty :)

Roch, there is the milk from an ordinary coconut and then there is the water from King Coconut which is sterile and full of minerals. It is used to cure all in places lik Sri Lanka but is not as nice as the milk.

The clear watery stuff can sort out stomach upsets and all sorts of bugs and viruses. Th King Coconut is the big yellow one not the brown hairy one.
