Bamber silencer not sent to Lab' until 26th September 1985

It need to be explained to me, in plain English, if the Bamber silencer was not sent to the lab' at Huntingdon,  to be examined until 26th September 1985, how could blood from Sheila, ( A, EAP BA, AK1 and HP 2-1) and paint from the aga in the kitchen, have already been found inside it?

Lets get the facts right, blood that was found inside a silencer 9DB/1) that had been already submitted to the lab' by 30th August 1985, and blood found inside it that was verified as being blood group activity that was the same as Sheila's on 12th, 13th, 18th and 19th September 1985...

How could this blood have been found inside the Bamber silencer, if the Bamber silencer was not sent to the Lab' until and by 26th September 1985?

How could the police still have the Bamber silencer by 26th September 1985, if it had already been sent to the lab' by 30th August 1985?
