It's all gone a bit cloak and dagger lately. ;D
I know I've hidden myself on occasion, mainly in an attempt to try and stop being called out every time I logged on, by someone wanting to beat me about the head. >:(
Just out of curiosity, why do other people keep themselves hidden on the forum, there are five or six hidden members at the moment?
(Also mods, is there something wrong with adding attachments? I get an error message saying that there is not enough room on the server.)

I'm one of the hidden ones, and I do it partly for the same reason. Also I like to sneak up on Patti when she's least expecting it. Oh and sometimes I like to research old threads she might not know about and when I'm hidden she doesn't know what I'm looking at. Oops - I've given away my tactical secrets now...

Haha, yes I did the same when searching out documents posted a long time back. "Do your own searches I say" ;D
I was going to keep that to myself though. ;D

Okay, that answers that then. Thanks. :)

Hartley if you are hidden you can watch all the pm s go backwards and forwards, some people are more interested in talking about people behind their backs than discussing the case

The nature of the beast I'm afraid, although to be fair I don't see anything wrong with people exchanging PM's.

Click on 'Profile' at the top of the screen, then hover over 'Modify Profile' and click 'Account Settings', then remove the tick from 'Show others my online status'.
Then you will be hidden and won't show up as being online to other members, or appear in the who is online list.

But as soon as you post, you will be sussed as having had your profile hidden. And even if you add your tick again before posting, you might still be sussed as the person who was hidden... because there will be one less hidden person.

Are you going to take up your original title, or are you gonna carry on a bit longer? ;)
(So will I, I'll be able to celebrate England winning the Euro's) ;D

I hope Croatia beat Spain tonight. I hate Spain. For the best team in the world they are boring to watch. Too much passing.

Yes if Italy and Croatia go through, that would be great. :)

Oh poor mat, your'e so delicate. :o :o

Why do you hate him? I'm being serious...I think he's ddg and it's nothing to do with the size of his wallet! He has beautiful blue Irish eyes like my Pete. I also think he's very intelligent and sensitive. Yes I'm a Utd supporter but I personally like Wayne Rooney from what I know. I know he shagged a granny but that was before he got serious with Colleen (a good Catholic girl) and yes there was the threesome whilst Colleen was pregnant but they obviously worked it out. They seem genuinely happy and met at school.
See this youtube clip. Hilarious. You might see him in a different light?

Funny you hate Wayne Rooney and JB and I don't? Interesting as I guess you haven't met either like me? Perceptions?
I don't like his attitude on the pitch at times.
And I don't like he cheated on a pregnant Colleen - very wrong.

Colleen is very much liked in Liverpool. She has no airs and graces and is appreciated for that. 8)
-
Yes I agree his attitude on the pitch is not good at times. He's getting better with age. It's a lot to ask of young guys from ordinary backgrounds who get catapulted onto one of the greatest stages?
Agree too about cheating on Coleen. She was obviously prepared to forgive him. Financially she cld have taken him to the cleaners so it must be more than just money.
Coleen obviously loves the socks off him, I can't personally see why given the way he's treated her, but love is blind...

They came from seriously ordinary backgrounds and there's nothing wrong with that but met as teenagers, Wayne had huge success and earned enormous money while still a teenager and they had a lot to deal with. I think it's unfair and also a bit class conscious to put them down. I'm not a Man u supporter....perish the thought, neither an everton supporter, not quite so bad but I think people are very cruel about Wayne Rooney because he's from Liverpool as opposed to a comparative person from the south.

Liverpool and Liverpudlians are lovely, Mags. I spend time with family up there and I just love it. I don't drink, but I love all the pubs and the atmosphere - what's the Irish one with the Irish band in the cellar downstairs? It was jam packed when we went there, great music and a brilliant atmosphere. I loved Macey's too - think that's what it's called - a Victorian pub with mirrors shining everywhere.
-
Hi Chochok Eira
Well who knows what goes on behind closed doors? I guess if it was one indiscretion? I think Coleen normally keeps him on the straight and narrow. She's very bright and got offered a place at Liverpool uni to study performing arts.
I like Coleen, she's lovely. Good to see you back, egap, we've missed you.
-
I love Colleen Rooney she Is amazing with her disabled sister
-
Hi Rochford (You will always be Rochford to me and you know why)
You hate Spain? It's like ballet. Truly beautiful football. I wld like to go to Nou Camp to see Barca play in La Liga. Hope to get there next season. I understand it's fairly easy to get tickets?
What a wonderful way to describe football. Nice one, egap!
-
Thank you Chochok Eira. I've missed the forum too.
What did you do on your hols, egap, anything exciting or interesting? Or did you just need to flop? Please excuse my nosiness, I'm having to have vicarious hols - no holidays away - this year as my cat is ill and I daren't leave him.
-
Hi chochok Eira is your poor cat not getting any better :(
-
Hi Keira
I wld imagine your ideal hol to be exploring archaeological/cultural sites? You remind me of my best friend and she loves all that. I enjoy these things in small doses.
My partner and children had kitesurfing lessons and I stuck to windsurfing. I don't fancy kitesurfing as a lot of it is about jumps etc. I just love the speed which I can get windsurfing and I like to spend time improving my technique. I enjoy activity holidays which also keep everyone amused. I like to arrive home physically exhausted and then I know I've had a good time!
Am I right about your sort of hol?
I went to America with my daughter and friends and we toured around and visited the tourist sites, we've been to Disneyland and love sun bathing and just flopping sometimes. But you're right, I love archaeological sites, museums and old churches.
