Are you meeting Z?
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Was about to say "How glorious" but ended up thinking "Rather you than me".

Looks like England

Hi Grahame both Mike and I are in Scotland just now is this a coincidence or what ;)
-
Grahame looks like Wales :)
-
Bravo Mike !!!!!
-
My mum's from Kirkcaldy! My dad from Burntisland a few miles away from there. We used to spend all our holidays in Fife.
-
I recognise the wild flowers...Red Campion and Candytuft....Weather has been shocking here all day....Take it steady Mike... :)

I have relatives who run a jewellery business in Kirkaldy, although I was not there to see them today on this occasion...

Mike if you and Patti could conduct your love affair in private that would be good. So you are in Scotland. What for? Stop the cat and mouse shit Mike. All credible posters on this site are sick and tired of it. Just tell us what you are there for, who you are meeting and why WE SHOULD GIVE A FUCK!
Sorry, I find this really rude to mike and really unacceptable. Unless you are totally stupid, Janet(known as Takeshi) why?? this is Mike's forum.

What's your problem 'Janet'?
-
I took some interesting experimental photographs whilst in the Fifedom...
-
No I am not stupid Maggie. Yes I know it is Mike's forum I have been on it for over a year. There is a difference between direct and rude.
I know you've been on longer than me Janet..... sorry that's not direct, that's rude. I do accept the pecking order...whatever. I will try to remember my place.
-
I took some interesting experimental photographs whilst in the Fifedom...
Everything is almost in place and ready to be acted upon...
-
No pecking order honestly....you can definitely be up front to kiss Mikes ass if you want....I simply chose not to.....I challenge Mike...I think he likes that....it would be a boring forum if everybody agreed with him!
I am so not interested in kissing mikes ass and neither do I think mike wants me to. The forum is actually far from boring without mike's arse kissing. I do take exception to your assumption that all I am useful for is arse kissing.

Mike, that last photo looks like the ones I take - blank!
Does Fife have any connection to WHF?

Hi Grahame both Mike and I are in Scotland just now is this a coincidence or what ;)
One of the most popular topics of conversation in Scotland. ;D
Scots, like the rest of the UK, talk a lot about the weather. This hardly surprising - as the hoary old joke so accurately says "If you don't like the weather in Scotland, wait half an hour and it will change". On a "dreich" (wet, dismal) day there may not be a blink of sun and on others it may be "mochie" (warm and damp) and on still others a "simmer cowt" (a heat haze).
Of course rain is often a feature ranging from a thunder "plump" (down-pour of rain) making everyone "drookit" (drenched) and producing lots of "dubs" (puddles) and will go into a "burn" (small stream or brook). There may be a more gentle "smirr" (light rain) or there may be an East Coast "haar" (mist from the sea). In winter time, when there are "wreaths" (drifts of snow) and the "snell" (bitingly cold) wind makes everone "fair jeelit" (cold as ice) at least the children can enjoy skiting (sliding) on the ice in a "hunker-slide" (sliding in a crouched position).
It is not always "rainin' auld wives and pipe staples" (heavy rain) or a "pish-oot" (a down-pour) with a "sump" (a great fall of rain). Then again there can be a "thunder-plump" (sudden thunder shower) or a "gandiegow" (heavy shower). Of course, sometimes the weather is just "plowtery" (showery) with a "smirr" (very light rain) or a "dreep" (steady fall of light rain) or a "dribble" (drizzle).
Along with the rain it can be "attery" (stormy) with a "blenter" or "flaff" (gusty wind) . The "tousle" (blustery) wind can often feel "snell" (biting). All this wind and rain can produce a "linn" (a torrent or waterfall) and can make us all "droukit" (drenched) and "draggled" (bedraggled) and feel "dowie" (dismal) as we trudge through the "glaur" (mud/mire) or a "sclutter" or "slaister" (messy wetness).
The rain may create a "stank" (small stagnant water) while in Glasgow the "stank" is the storm drain in the street. In Perth, the storm drain is called a "condie" (derived, it is said, from the French "conduire"). Then again it may just be "grulie" (unsettled) or even "leesome" (fine) with a "pirl" (gentle breeze). And after the next "plype" (sudden heavy shower) there may even be a "watergow" (a fragmentary rainbow!).
-
Ok so we got a mutual appreciation society going on here.....have either of you got anything to say about the case?
This is a public forum, Janet, where members can discuss whatever they wish to, within reason. There is no harm in a little civility and pleasantness towards each other.
-
Am I not being civil? I thought I was.
You seem a bit grumpy, Janet. It's Friday night and we're chilling. Why not chill with us? :D

Thank you keira but I really do believe that Sheila lost may not have needed any other reason to go to the monastery other than it was there. If I was falling into a lost and unreal world maybe I would go there. I feel we should maybe questi0n her reasons less and understand her decisions more, if you see what I mean. We have to remember that Sheila was ok in Sheila's mind. Sheila's mind was like our mind but sort of different. She saw things slightly different. So mum and dad were still mum and dad but they took on slightly different identities. It only had change a bit to be different and to cause different reactions. In reality it didn't matter about natural mothers etc. schizophrenia doesn't take natural or adoptive mothers into account. In fact children have difficulties with adoption or not but most children cope with their adoption. The whole adoption thing for most children as it was for Jeremy and as it was for Sheila untill she got ill is acceptance. There are some poor children who have the most appalling time with their own mothers or with adoptive mothers but I don't accept that with June. If she fell short, if she had a stuffed toy between her and neil we should do better than that we should accept for whatever reason she did this. Whatever happened to June no one has the right to judge her. We have no right and then only thing we need to believe that she loved her son and her daughter. We have no right to hang on her that she failed in any way. I find all that very difficult and quite offensive.

I agree. It's no good trying to apply the rules of normal logic to someone who has lost the sense of themselves or who is having a psychotic episode.

Sheila had severe psychotic episodes, when as Freddie said in his statement, she hallucinated and did not recognise her family.

If you get the chance visit Port de Soller, you'll get some fab pictures there, and along the road to it.

Hi Bridget I was lucky to visit Alcudia and most of Majorca before it was a commercial holiday resort it was beautiful especially Palma rather spoilt now but that is progress I suppose as they rely so much on tourism for a living.

Yes, it is on our list. We went there on another occasion when I hired a car, we went the long way round over the mountain roads. It was great driving on those winding air pin bends with breathtaking views, at least it was for me, it reminded me of "the italian job" starring Michael Cane. Although my family didn't appreciate it at the time because they said it scared them half to death. So, we are going back by a different route on Saturday (through the tunnel)...

We did exactly the same thing, and I know what you mean, some of it was terrifying! But well worth it (I'm jealous!)

Me too, although my first intro to majorca was Magaluf when there was still a gap between it and Palma Nova, if that gives you any clues as to how long ago it was! I've probably been 4 or 5 times now, twice to Alcudia staying at the Alcudia Pins.

Hi Bridget I worked in the travel industry for many years so did my fair share of travelling most trips suppose to be educational (they were that alright) now I just stick to The Highlands of Scotland where I live part of the time but I have wonderful memories of the Spanish Islands
-
Hi egap1 the 18 - 30,s club had quite a reputation but I am sure you were good with or without your bikini ;)
-
Mike, I'm SO jealous. Stayed in Cala D'Or numerous times. One of our favourite trips was to Port Soller, more French than Spanish, and taking the train up the mountain. A great way to experience coast and country. Other must do is to go as far north as poss and cross the mountain range(Tramentura?) which is like a moonscape.
Happy hols.
-
Hi Bridget
Were you on an 18 - 30's hol? Did you visit the 'in' bar - Tokyo Joes? :D 8)
I don't think we were on 18-30's but most people in our hotel were so we just tagged along on any of their activities we fancied. omg, Tokyo Joes... that's ringing some very loud bells - was that a sweaty kind of place where everyone danced on the low dividing walls if they couldn't get a spot on a table?

I've been there as a young'an. Definitely a sticky floor. There was a Club Banana and a Scamps also. Great days.
-
Have a fab holiday Mike, now put that phone away....relax and chill... :) :) :) :)
-
Hi egap yes I was in Ibiza many years ago it too is a lovely holiday resort. The Highlands is a wonderful place to live the view from my house overlooks Ben Wyvis which is snow capped even throughout the summer and my kitchen window looks to the west my most favourite view. I consider myself very lucky to live in two beautiful parts of the country. Not into skiing myself more hill walking. The ski slopes in Scotland have become very popular so have the mountains like Ben Nevis for serious hill walkers.
-
skied all over the world
I've skied in the Dolomites a couple of times.
-
Hi Rochford
I went skiing with the school a couple of times and started going regularly in my 20's. However, before I went I had endless lessons and practice sessions at the dry ski slopes. I'm not saying this is you but I find it most infuriating when guys, and it's mostly English guys, turn up totally ill prepared, often drunk or drugged up, have no technique and are a complete menace to all and sundry and then brag in the bar in the evening about all the black runs/skiing off piste. Enough to turn a healthy girl :-* But I'm sure this isn't you :)
I'm afraid you've collared me there. They were school trips. So my technique was definitely poor. After going through the menace stage, cutting through families and smacking in to trees, I eventually got cocky enough to do the black runs / go off-piste ;)

Yes...
I have been informed that COLP saw and took possession of the photographs of Sheila on the bed, along with many other pictures at the scene in the bedroom and kitchen, which were given to them by the Chief Constable. These had been kept at police headquarters in a top secret file to which no-one had access other than senior police officers engaged in the cover up surrounding Sheila's death in the bedroom?

COLP also took possession of a large numer of other photographs taken in connection with the training exercide carried out at the scene with the bodies of the victims still in situ...
Documents which form part of the COLP investigation confirm that there were a large number of photographs which they came into possession of which they simply did not copy - many of these showed the bodies of the victims in different positions / locations than those officially set as part of the prosecutions case. It is these photographs which Bambers current legal team would be advised to pursue and obtain. In particular, the one which shows Sheila on the bed with only one wound...

it depends on what Mike means by lectures. I was thinking along the lines of Colonel Blenkinsopp from MI5 and other relevant notables in the audience?

Aah...
Now we are getting somewhere - police actually took 581 photographs in connection with this investigation, each numbered 1 to 581, consecutively. These were kept under lock and key in ACC Peter Simpsons safe. A schedule relating to all these 581 photographs has never yet been disclosed, but they were all held under a top secret photographic album, which became known as THE SENIOR INVESTIGATING OFFICERS ALBUM. This album was put together by SOC, and in the knowledge of DI "Ron" Cook, PC "David" Bird, DS Davidson, and DC Hammerlsey. Other officers who knew and had knowledge of its existence, were DCI "George" Harris, DCI "Taff" Jones, DCI "Terry" Gibbons, DCI Clarke, DCS Ainsley, PI "Bob" Miller, PI "Ivor" Montgomery, all the members of the TFG, and TSU officers who attended the scene, and the group of additional firearms officers who carried out the training exercise with the bodies of the victims still in situ, amongst others who were in on the cover up surrounding the circumstances of how Sheila had been shot and killed in the main bedroom...
Instead...
PC Bird produced a false schedule which suggested that the police had only taken 223 photographs in connection with the case - these 223 photographs were put into an album named THE MASTER COPY ALBUM. These were numbered 1 to 223 consecutively, designed to give the impression that these were all the pictures the police had taken in connection with the case, but at the scene and elsewhere...
The photographs of Sheila on the bed with one wound formed part of THE SENIOR INVESTIGATING OFFICERS ALBUM. It was this album that Ewen Smith eventually obtained access to from Essex police, after I drew his attention to its existence. He was given access to it, on the proviso that he did not show its contents to anyone, or take copies of any of the pictures contained therein. 358 of the photographs contained in this album had never been disclosed to Jeremy or to his solicitors before the commencement of his trial in October 1986, or the 2002 appeal. If any of these previously undisclosed photographs had been made available by the time of the trial in 1986, the outcome and verdicts would almost certainly have been very much different, by virtue of the fact that it would become clear that police disturbed and stage managed the crime scenes in the kitchen and bedrooms, and blamed Jeremy for doing so during the trial. If any of these missing 358 pictures had been disclosed or known about, it would have been a piece of cake for the defence to prove the police stage managed Sheila's body on the bedroom floor after it had earlier been photographed on the bed...
-
Jeremy's current legal team should take steps to obtain information and evidence from Ewen Smith, Essex police, and the CCRC, about the arrangement that was made to allow Ewen Smith (and yours truly) access to all the photographs contained in the SENIOR INVESTIGATING OFFICERS ALBUM. For my part, I am more than prepared to make a sworn affidavit to cover the points I have previously spoken about involving how I came to see the photograph of Sheila on the bed, how I removed it with the specific intention of sending it to Jeremy because it was clear that Essex police , CCRC and Ewen Smith did not want to, or intend to allow Jeremy access to all this previously undisclosed material. How I sent it to Jeremy along with a letter of explanation sent to him under a privilege rule which allowed us to communicate with one another in privacy, but which ended up being confiscated by the prison staff, leading to Jeremy asking Ewen to send copies of the said pictures to him, but being ignored by Ewen...
-
A tall story easily proven by showing the photo which is on your hard drive......
-

Ah! I knew him. But his name was Blenkinship back then.
-
A tall story easily proven by showing the photo which is on your hard drive......
A tall story indeed, by Essex police declaring that they only took 223 photographs, when all along they took 581, and withheld 358 from Jeremy, his solicitors, the court which tried him and the court of appeal - seems like police can tell lies, falsify records and basically get rid of any evidence that puts them and their case in a poor light...
They shot Sheila and are responsible for her death in the bedroom...
-
I wonder why we have not heard from Essex police about why they lied about how many photographs they took in connection with this investigation? I mean, police / prosecution put in reo]=cords to the court which trued Bamber for these murders, and they produce an album which they call THE MASTER COPY ALBUM and they claim there were on ly 223 pictures which they took which were all contained in that album, and PC Bird testified to that effect, when all along the lying devious evil wretched scum bags had taken 358 additional ones which obviously did not want Bamber or his legal team, or the jury to see? These people think they can tell lies and falsify whatever evidence they need to just to get someone convicted, and that the courts will simply turn a blind eye, but in my book the courts which allow this to happen are corrupted themselves, they make a mockery of the criminal justice system, it is shockingly dishonest and nothing short of a circus...
How can anyone say that Jeremy Bamber had a fair trial after they lied about the existence of 358 photographs which could have assisted Bambers defence? You do not hide 358 photographs unless what they show and depict could lead to the case collapsing in court....
-
Or take it into Boots the chemist and get loads of copies made.

I didn't think so either, but one of the other passengers in the vehicle we were travelling in said there was? Anyway, if you go along the dual carriageway with the police station on your right you eventually come to a train station on your left, and that is where the demonstration was taking place...

Mike is seemingly referring to the Town Train Station on St Botolphs Circus, where the new Magistrates Court has been built.

The only prison in Colchester is the MCTC (Military Corrective Training Centre).

Barney, is a dog that was shot 10 times with an air rifle, attacked with a meat cleaver and then dumped on the A12 with a noose round it's neck by it's owner. He appeared at the magistrates court today and received a 6 month sentence, as well as a welcoming committee.

This is outrageous - a 6 months prison sentence is / was not long enough...

The guilty man does, apparently, have mental health issues!!!!

I only live in Chelmsford and didn't realise that that magistrates court had been built!

It has it's critics, although I think it's quite a nice building really, the architecture is a bit blocky and monolithic, plus it has two or three ugly elevations, but it sort of suits its function.
I like it anyway.
The visual arts centre eyesore is another matter though. :(

Chelmsford also has a new magistrates court. Not quite as fancy as that one though!

Anyone who is cruel like this,to animals,,,can just as easily treat humans the same...These are the psychopaths of society.! Wicked and evil.

Morning lookout I know what you are talking about but I just cannot bear to read it but I do believe that people who are cruel to animals get off far too lightly. I am always on the phone to the RSPCA reporting some farmer or other for their treatment of animals. >:(

the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated

Well there you are,,Grahame.I didn't realise that I was on a par with Ghandi. I meant every word I said though. Look at those thugs who train their dogs to fight. They're not right in the head.

Good morning Susan. I just hate to see animal cruelty and can't read about it. Child cruelty too.
There's no need for any of it.

I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow. :-\
