I've just been reading a Bambertweet received about an hour ago with documentary evidence that a review of the case by Det Supt Kenneally concluded that Sheila Caffell was responsible.
It's part of the interview that Det Supt Ainsley had with Metropolitan Police Stokenchurch Inquiry.
Anyone else seen it?
I apologise if this information is already known to the forum but being a newbie thought I would mention it.

I'm not aware of it. Interesting.

Mike has posted something about this review. I did not know that he had backed up Taff Jones though. That's odd. Because after Kenneally's review came Ainsley?

As Rocky says, Gillian, interesting yet odd.

Thank you for the post Gillian. It does prompt the question why was this not disclosed? Come to think of it at every appeal Bamber's team has reveled relevent evidence that Jeremy was not responsible only to be seemingly casually brushed aside by either the CCRC or the appeal courts themselves. This suggests to my mind that these people with whom we entrust our legal decisions are untrustworthy and incapable of carrying out the tasks that they have been assigned to?

Yes Rochford it is a twitpic but being new I don't know how to transfer it to this site. Soz. There is, what appears to be a handwritten extract from the interview but this has then been typed out by someone to make it clearer to read.

This has only recently come to light in the large number of documents previously held under PII. It is significant in view of the timing of the review. The circumstances surrounding it are interesting as well. I am a little surprised that this has been made public at this stage.

This is what has been typed:-
D Supt Ainsley's interview with the Metropolitan Police Stokenchurch Enquiry
Why was Jeremy Bamber charged with murder when the evidence suggested that Sheila Caffell was responsible?
Where is the evidence used for Det Supt Kenneally's review of the case and why has it not been disclosed?
"On my return from annual leave I obviously enquired of Kenneally as to the situation with the murders and he assured me that Sheila Caffell was responsible.
At the beginning of September that year following a meeting with ACC Peter Simpson I instructed Kenneally to carry out a review of the case.
On Friday the 6th of September at I believe 6pm a meeting was held in my office with the Chief Constable R Bunyard, Mr Peter Simpson (ACC), Det Supt Kenneally and myself. When Kenneally was asked to give us the results of his review, he stated that the evidence indicated that Sheila was responsible".

I hope the campaign team are being careful not to prematurely release stuff.
This is the Twitpic in question...

Thanks Rochford. I'll learn how to do it eventually! :)

I hope I haven't done anything wrong by mentioning it!

Don't be daft. They've released a snippet of something. It may not be in the full context of what is known. I'll pm you (about uploading docs).
