as usual someone near us put their crimbo deacorations up in November, tree lights carded santas on the windows , fake snow the works.

I dont know!  Dont know where or when the word crimbo started its been around yrs though.

its slang very much heard in South Yorkshire , seems to be spreading into Lincolnshire .

my mate in bedford bought a small crimbo tree in dunelm mill milton keynes last week,  he normally  does not bother nice little tree

Ive just finished decorating, was going to put my tree up but its too early, ill do it first week of dec!

Mines a 7 ft tree, takes ages to put all the baubles on it!

I havent counted them, but i reckon well over a hundred.

I have no enthusiasm this year. Put it down to ill health. I have no strength to bother much about it. In and out of hospital all year. Been like this for around three years and jusy wish to feel normal again.

Maybe nugnug was just eating some winter mixtures just then and came to a humbug..."eeyuk bar! humbug".

Ouch!  i remember my dad standing on my mums hotbrush, i was dying to laugh but i didnt dare.

i can see uses for baubles, placing them at the foot of the stairs last one up to catch kids sneaking down early crimbo morning.

i thimk we will get some snow mertol, we had plenty last yr and its just as cold this yr. Anything except rain! i hate the bleeding rain.

its raining now in scunthorpe, you know when it snows it goes much quieter
i think it was end of january this year or 1st part of feb the snow finally cracked and left,i cut like a cake a piece in the front garden i think ive never seen snow that high,Leeds is more open and should get a good fall.
