Correct me if I'm wrong here but with respect;
Last night, the person who I believe was given the Air Rifle which is claimed by Z to have shot Sheila, said that this rifle did NOT have a screw thread on the end of the barrel.
Does this now prove that Z is a fraud?

But did the poster examine it very closely to see if one could be fitted or not. If she is not mechanically minded such details are overlooked.
Certain BSA Meteor models (carbine versions) certainly can take silencers and are pictured with them.
Z may be not be truthful on everything and I suspect this may be one of the issues.
Here is a BSA meteor .22 air rifle with a silencer fitted.

Same person mentioned here, also previously declared that relatives had not found air rifle at the scene, because police handed it to them - therefore, does this expose that person as a fraud?

Air rifles which have an external thread on the end of their barrels, can often be obscured from view by the attachment of a metal cap, which effectively screws onto the thread and completely disguises it...
With such a metal cap fitted to the end of the air rifles barrel, to the casual observer it might appear as though there was no thread on its barrel...

I don't recall that Cd's actually mentioned that the rifle had or had not got a thread? Could you throw a link to Cd's post where it is mentioned please?

'Z` exists, and is a source of much insight into the anomalies and contradictions in this case...
Remember...
That ballistic expert Fletcher said he could not say whether or not any of the 25 bullets had been fired through a silencer, yet there is what appears to be a mark made by the silencer, around the lower non fatal entry wound, whist at the same time, there is a marked absence of the same, around the upper entry wound beneath the chin...
Silencer appears to have been used at time first shot was fired, yet absent when second shot was fired...
If none of the 25 bullets had been fired through the silencer, it paves the way for an air rifle to have fired at least one of the original bullets,,.

Simple question. Do you agree that there is a silencer mark around the entry wound of the first shot?

I have an idea what a screw end may look like.....and the air rifle in question has no screw end.....the only way a silencer could have been fitted would be to slot on the end of the rifle itself.........
I could be wrong.......but the butt of the rifle was flat inside and out. (if that makes sense)
