So, if there were not two different silencers, who swapped the baffles around?
-
If there was only one silencer, and the baffle plates got switched around after 29th August 1985, when DI Cook dismantled and photographed the silencers baffle plates facing one way, but yet when the silencer was re-examined at the Lab', the baffles were facing the other way - then the interference of these baffle plates by one person or another whilst it was under the control, and in the possession of the police, or someone at the lab', so that the theory of back-spatter could be introduced, and relied upon, as part of the prosecutions case, renders the silencer evidence inadmissible...
Blood supposedly found on the first 8 baffle plates (after is it was examined at the lab') would in effect have been the last eight baffle plates, or those closest to the barrel of the gun, and under such circumstances the blood could not have got into the silencer at the time Sheila was shot, but rather it must have got blasted into the silencer from the barrel of the gun?
This would/might explain why there was no blood found inside the barrel of the rifle, and that there must have been/was some sort of test firing of the gun with the silencer attached soon after the shootings which as the sole reason why blood ended up inside the silencer, not that the silencer was used on the gun at all during the shootings?

one thing that seems to have been overlooked is that in the picture with the rifle stood up by the window the barrel/silencer is in contact with the curtain.
A great case for messing up forensics on the end of the rifle/silencer and the possible removal of evidence from it and the introduction of evidence to it(fibres etc) or just plain disturbance of evidence.
Just what sort of idiot or conniving slimeball did that!
