It's not stated explicitly in the books, but human nature leads me to think he would have wanted favours.

You have a point. Might the "drug pushing" have been a point used, by JB supporters, to 'prove' Sheila's guilt?

Most fellas don't get close to a woman as attractive as Shelia and do errands for her unless they're gdtting some kind of benefit or hoping they are going to.
In fairness no detriment to FA, it is what it is. Perhaps he wanted to downplay it.

From what I've seen it appears CC was the one who discussed FA involvment in that sctivity.
