Was this unfair? In terms of saying the time shelia had from 3.26 to 3.48?
With the property not being entered until 7.30am that morning.

It was fair I assume, because Jeremy himself limited the purported massacre for that time. Had Sheila wounded anyone by the stage of the (fictitious) call it's probable Nevill would have called for an ambulance rather than assistance from a son whom he suspected was planning his own demise.

Yes it was unfair, ILB, how did Justice Drake know who was dead at that stage?
Anyway. it would be from 3.10 to 3.48!

I believe that is the official time snow, Wilkes quotes 22 minutes from 3.26 to 3.48 from JBs police phonecall for some reason.

Dr craig said " death could have occurred any time during the night "
How is the short window in the judges direction to the jury fair and impartial to Jeremy Bamber? It's madness.

But to believe Jeremy Bamber's version of events it's hardly credible that Nevill didn't know there had been casualties before deciding to ring his son instead of calling for an ambulance.

In my view they were all dead when Jeremy telephoned Julie. I think Julie knew too when she went back to bed.

That's not true in the slightest.
His account is his father rang him and said " you sister has gone crazy and HAS the gun "
At that present moment in time it may have just been Shelia on an episode and Nevill exasperated leading him to ring Jeremy. Many things may have been going through Nevills head.
But the main point of the thread is I believe coupled with a none confirmation of time of death and the raid team not entering till 7.30AM that morning, Justice Drake was manifestly unfair when giving this direction in a trial when the trial rested on the aspect either Jeremy Bamber or Shelia Caffell committed the offences.
Logically speaking fairly SC had a 3, 4 hour window.

Yes, they were probably all dead when JB phoned Julie around 3.20, Steve!
Except Sheila of course, hard to say when she died!

But if Sheila has the gun and Nevill thinks Jeremy can somehow assist with calming the situation (or whatever) then there's a 22-minute window for her to commit the massacre, which I thought was the subject of this thread.

4 hour window.
Not a 22 minute window not a 3.10 to 3.48
Very unfair to Jeremy Bamber in summing up this IMO.

The Judge references a 22 minute window from NB phone call to JB . Which if shelia was a killer had to be done in that time frame ( all dead) as at 3.48am, Bamber, Bews, Myall and Saxby were at the scene.
Stood outside a large gregorian farmhouse.....
-
Adams and the firearm unit didn't arrive until 5AM.
So just the quartet doing the perimeter.
-
The dog was going ape shit as referenced by Bews and Bamber.
What was setting the dog off?

But doesn't that make sense? If Nevill knew of casualties he's not going to cover anything up at that stage. It would be bound to come out sooner or later.

It doesn't make sense no, and it's not about NB " covering anything up "
From a point of reference from JBs 3.26am call to the raid team entering at 7.30am nobody has a clue what was going on in WHF
-
As referenced the insinuation that would be given to jurors is that Shelia would have to he a duracell bunny in such a short time gap when in reality the true picture is a substantial window. It was unfair to JB

I dont suppose you remember which page that is on do you ILB?

It's in Wilkes book snow.
As retierated whether the time is officially 3.26 to 3.48 or 3.10 to 3.48 it's massivley unfair to Jeremy Bamber either way IMO

Ah yes, page 350, ILB!

Everyone was deceased prior to the police arriving. As the judge said.
The lights were off. She couldn't committ the massacre in the dark while police were outside.
No one saw any movement inside WHF. There were a lot of people covering WHF between 3.50am-7.30am.
There was no response to loud hailer conversation attempts.
The raid team say the same thing upon entrance - a lot of kitchen blood & Nevill with trousers down with head in coal scuttle. Sheila found upstairs.
Sheila's neck blood had dried. CAL saying the CT later doctored that photo.
Burrell's 1985 WS covers the aledged 6.09am call.
The forensic evidence negates murder/suicide.
-
Going by his 3.00am call to Julie, Sheila had at least 50 minutes. This benefits the CT.
But appreciate the CT will go the whole hog and say Sheila was still alive over 4 hours later when the raid team entered.
-
Believe the CT narrative is Sheila was in the kitchen when the raid team entered. Pretending to be dead.
She somehow avoided the 12+ raid team officers & got to the main bedroom. Then shot herself twice.
EP were embarrassed this had happened so started a large scale frame. Without Taff's knowledge.
-

I would tend to agree reference the other four. but shelia may have still been alive.
Prior to 5am, there were just Bamber and the three coppers on the scene, doing the perimeter. WHF is a large place, not a beach hut on Brighton beach.
The dog was barking for some reason.
Reference the loud hailer, she's hardly going to open a window and go " coooeeeee"

That is pure madness.
I myself don't buy in to bollocks like this.
And I don't even believe Bamber would claim this. Must be a theory of a CT member.

But it has, nonetheless, been claimed. Possibly one of Mike's 'offerings? But certainly said.

Adam claims it is the CT narrative.
If it's true it must be rightly ridiculed.
-
Conspiracy theories are just crackers to me even though I have personally witnessed and been a victim police corruption in the 1980s.
I don't believe JB would sanction someone advocating or supporting him who put out bampot theories. He was once scathing when Mike got a psychic involved in his case.

They say Sheila was in the kitchen after shooting herself once. Then went upstairs after the raid team entered.
-
The idea that the police shot shelia is ludicrous.

How long could shelia stay conscious for after receiving the first shot let alone leg it upstairs???
Crackers.

To my eyes both shots to Sheila were fired in quick succession, looking at the blood runs on her throat.
Bamber would have avoided using two shots if at all possible.
If Sheila did leg it upstairs when the police broke the door down she was obviously uninjured at this stage.

Agree he would want to avoid shooting a scapegoat suicide victim twice and if he did he did it by mistake upon seeing she was still alive.
Wouldn't shelias first shot prevent her from being able to go back upstairs?

Bambergate!

Its a wonder the Author of that non sense doesn’t throw in that the police then shot June after using Sheila as a prop. It’s absolutely insane and disgusting what people use as an Alibi, they should be ashamed of themselves, words fail me the length idiots go to, and like I’ve said before, they don’t do Bamber any favours.

FFS
The police then drafted in large numbers of officers for police training exercises where they used Sheila Caffell to practice taking the gun on and off of her body.

I must admit it's fucking crackers.
I recall JB being scathing over some mad theories.
Are he and the CT singing from the same hymn sheet?
I sometimes find for example some of the tiktok videos by the CT have an almost sneering attitude to them.
-
A troubling aspect for JB that has always nagged me is even though the .22 has low recoil you would not expect the rifle to be found on Shelia like it was in my opinion. Isn't it more likely the rifle would be at the side of her adjacent for example?
Again for crystal clear clarity you would need someone to committ suicide with the .22 for an example!
