When the IRA carried out a terrorist campaign on the mainland the UK government did not bomb Eire or mainly Catholic areas of NI. It sought out the IRA/terrorists. Surely it can't be right that IDF is indiscriminately bombing civilian areas in an attempt to destroy Hamas?

I think she's coming under fire herself Cutie, Megyn Kelly has slammed Queen Rania
Kelly continued: 'Really? So just to recap, according to the Queen of Jordan, Israel's the bad guy.
'Apparently she missed the Hamas interrogations and confessions of their brutality. Perhaps she also missed the clip from a terrorist who gleefully called mom and dad to brag about all the innocent Jewish blood on his hands.'
Hamas' spokespeople have insisted that the group avoids civilian casualties - an obvious lie, betrayed by the body camera footage from the terrorists themselves, showing them gleefully gunning down men, women and children.
Kelly reacted with disgust. 'Unbelievable. She's actually trying to spin the lie – the queen – that children weren't killed,' she said.

Had to look up Megyn Kelly. Well it seems to me this conflict has a long history and currently there's a lot of misinformation being bandied about by both sides so its not as straightforward as it seems.

Correct, read The Nemesis File, they set up an execution Squad namely of new SAS recruits, top IRA was brought to this new SAS squad and executed in ready made unmarked woodland graves, it did however cause mental breakdown of crack SAS troops ordered to carry out the dirtiest job in a secret war. But like you said, they didn't go bombing innocent civillians and Children.
With the Precision Bombing targeted area's, i suppose you are always going to get civilian's caught in this way, i'm not making excuses and taking sides, but, the IDF did give warning and for the evacuation of the area, the Hamas didn't and intentionally targeted women and Children?

So Israel must play by the rules of war but not Hamas? Monarchy is supposed to be above politics. Had Princess Catherine given such an interview it might well have been the end of the monarchy.

How about those civilians in Gaza who want peace be allowed to reside in one of the surrounding Muslim countries, whilst Hamas is rooted out?

what rules would apply with the launch of a Nuclear bomb?

I've seen some terrible footage from Gaza. I didn't see the Israeli footage but I heard that was terrible also.

They don't like the truth though do they? Hamas went in for one reason, to kill as many as possible. He say's there was confrontation, it was a festival they targeted.

Steve, at which point do we have to consider that Israel are carrying out reprisal killings? I think that point has long past.
If the world is not careful here, we are going to end up with a kill ratio of about 7:1 between the two sides. There are dead babies and toddlers being pulled out of bombed buildings.
I have seen the footage and it is awful. We cannot expect Palestinian babies and toddlers to pay the price for the atrocities committed by Hamas.

Don't you think Hamas factored that in before they began the killing spree? Remember there are 16 million Jews worldwide, against 2 billion Muslims.

There would be radioactive fallout, the reason I assume in such a tiny space of land it's been ruled out. For an existential threat I've no doubt Netanyahu would use.

An excellent interview with the incomparable, Professor Norman Finkelstein. Well worth the entire 50 minutes. Adds a historical context to the dilemma of how to frame the actions of Hamas and his point blank refusal to condemn them. He refers to how historians have dealt with similar episodes that bear comparison, such as the Nat Turner slave rebellion and the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, and how they refused to condemn the rebels for what were brutal acts of revenge deliberately targeting civilians, women and children. Context always matters and Prof. Finkelstein provides it with aplomb.
As the child of parents who were part of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising and someone steeped in the history of the conflict, his perspective is always valuable.
After wrestling with this dilemma he also touches on the fact that when, with the urging of the self styled "international community", the Gazans chose a peaceful (Ghandi style protest as Prof Fink calls it) form of protest via the March of Return in 2018, the IDF deliberately targeted peaceful protesters, medical personnel, press and disabled people.
It isn't just Netanyahu who is incapable of any just agreement with the Palestinians, successive Israeli governments have blocked any possibility of justice for Palestinians. Israel do not get to play victim whilst blocking any possibility of Palestinian justice.
Finklestein, would certainly say that Queen Rania has a point with which he would agree and so do I.

A video to educate Norman Finkelstein: https://youtu.be/4Iid_iI50TY
What makes you imagine that a 3 minute propaganda video by "Israel in the UK"(the official channel of the Israel Embassy) would "educate" Norman Finklestein? If that video "educates" you, then you demonstrate that it is you who needs educating. Anyone still supporting Israel now is beyond reason.
