Olly Reed and Depp ok looking but not my types. I only like very tall, skinny, leptosomatic intellectuals. Oh, and I have a thing about flying, so I like Robert Pattinson in the Twilight stuff.

He's not at all bad, actually, but I do like bone structure and his is not the best I've seen. There's also a certain type of chin that I'm quite fussy about, sort of like Pattison's.
Title: Re: wide awake club

Hugh Grant is better!

He was Ok in Four Weddings and a Funeral, but he tends to go flabby and he doesn't have the chin I like. I am so fussy about my fantasy figures  ;D

I don't know what it is with these smiters. I very rarely smite, I prefer giving applause. Smiting someone feels a bit seedy to me, it's sneaky and underhand.

My choice of a nice drop of splosh is Tudor Rose, the alcoholic's friend. What have you been up to, Choch?

Ok, Tudor Rose it is. I've not been up to anything, Shona, I'm too busy working, organising demos and on here to get up to anything at all, I promise you.

It's just that this time, the Chair of our campaign group wants a really massive demo. Personally, I think he's being too ambitious. Every demo we've organised has been very successful because we've been mindful of the limits of our own capabilities and aimed for around 200 to 300 people to attend each one. We've have always had an attendance of 300 or so and have been well pleased with that. Around 300 people demonstrating against something is impressive.

But this time, says our Chair, he wants something bigger. I think that's daft. To me, a large part of our success has been due to careful management of expectations: we tell the police and our council that we're going to have around 100 to 200 demonstrators, so when over 300 show up it scares the daylights out of the police and the council - which is the whole purpose of our demos. If we start forecasting that a huge number will show up, even if more people attend than ever have previously, but it's not a huge number, it will look as though our support is waining.

Sorry I missed last night, I had to look after the baby, and sometimes, when I've drunk too much sherry when I'm babysitting I do just that. Sit on her. But, listen, girls. This isn't very fair. Simon and Paul have gone, Bob and Jailman have retired, Rochy openly tried to poach Hartley over to "the other side" and now it looks like you've killed Poor Bambi. I feel like the last one standing. Soon the forum will be like...

"Jeremy's lovely, isn't he?"

"Oh yes, he's smashing. When he gets out, he's going to marry me."

Really? Wow! Congratulations, Grahame!"

Anyone else affected by the riots?

Last night they wrecked Clapham Junction which is only a mile away from me.

Today all the areas around me closed down mid-afternoon and people were told to go home early.

And yet tonight it seems very quiet, though it seems other towns are suffering a bit.

Interested to know what the anti-police posters on here think about what powers they should/shouldn't be given to deal with such violence?

There has been some trouble not too far from me in Liverpool last night and the traffic has been chaos today.
I personally think there should be curfews for affected areas and the army should be brought in to enforce them. Curfews could be imposed quickly like in Manchester tonight and mobile army units could easily impliment them.

Not many left in the army now they have been given the boot.
Anyway why should squaddies sort it out, the cops get well paid to sort it out, or should we have marshall law.

What is your favourite Carry On film?

Carry On Up The Jungle, I think. Though I love all of the Carry On films: classic Brit slapstick humour by the best of British comedians. It doesn't get any better than that. I can watch endless repeats.

Funny how you ladies too have trouble sleeping. Sometimes I need sleeping pills too, but I really try NOT to, but sometimes I just have to. It sukks. We can´t get any over the counter sleeping pills here, just some Baldrian pills, which don´t work at all. Whenever I need sleeping pills, I have to go see my doctor. That is the law here. I can get prescriptions for other things by just calling or by e-mail. So basically, I have a sleeping disorder AND must be made to feel like a criminal and a bad person because I have it! I have had trouble sleeping since I was six months old and was a pain in the butt for my early-to-bed, early riser mother. Sleeping disorder is not funny!
Jackie, you are doing such a great job creating awareness for Jeremy´s case. I hope this movement grows fast and gets huge to the point that it can´t be ignored anymore.

vic

It costs very little so that is not a problem.  I will arrange a search against the address and PM you what I find.  I should certainly be able to get the current and previous owners together with any mortgages or other charges.  If there have been any sales of the property in the past I may be able to get details of the sale price, but that has only been available I believe for about 20 years ( that is from memory and I have not checked it so could be wrong on that).

Best wishes

Jackie, this is a peaceful place to be. Stop your shouting. You've made it quite clear that you don't trust us anymore. Take it away. Do your shouty stuff. Just don't do it here. Basically, tonight, you've made a tit of yourself. Good luck.

Hi Jackie.

Its very possible that both myself and Neil are both correct. The Eatons may have put the farm into somebody elses name in order to protect it from any civil claims that Jeremy may make?

Oak Farm has a car race track on its land, and the people that run it rent it from Peter Eaton.
That is all I can tell you unfortunately. xxxxxxx

Sorry, baby, but it's time that everyone saw Jaackie for what she is. She's not some kind of mascot, she's a rude, offensive, shouty, frusrated woman. She has free reign to slag us all off, and when we object, she runs to Grahame. We are all valuable on here, not just her.

First of all Shona I started the wide awake club

Second you have started on Grahame again

Third Vidvic called me a liar it clearly shows you in a pm from Tyler she led me to believe Vidvic didn't know who owned the farm and Ngb said he has done a search and it shows the property was sold

Fourth Vidvic has called me a liar and I am not taking that

Fifth horsey started the trouble this morning it could have been sorted this morning by him copying the message

Andrea clearly is backing horsey because in her words you have done nothing wrong

Nice backing from Andrea about that she didn't even ask him if he was telling the truth

Shona I have seen you at it again starting on Grahame another job well done he will probably leave by the morning

You carry on being nasty to Grahame and bob can join in and all the taking the piss out of Smiffy will continue

As I told you Shona I have no intention of having any interaction with bullies

After Andreas backing of horsey over me that will never be forgotten

There will obviously major troubles on this forum in the weeks to come which I am sure you and Andrea will enjoy

It was a great experiment to see Andrea reaction when she was being lied about the same as me

Yet quite casually she said let's draw a Line under it and subsequently every one would believe I had sent a vile pm to horsey

There's nothing else to say you and Andrea what you are I have more loyalty to people I care about

noooooooooooooooooooooooooo !!!!! Shonaaaaaaaaaaa !!!  ;D

Sorry, baby, but it's time that everyone saw Jaackie for what she is. She's not some kind of mascot, she's a rude, offensive, shouty, frusrated woman. She has free reign to slag us all off, and when we object, she runs to Grahame. We are all valuable on here, not just her.

thats true ,we are all valuable.

you dont like the fact that i talk to dave, tough!

and jack you are more than capable of handling yourself, as i have explained twice, i was at work when all this started, i dont know who posted what, and i couldnt give a fuck to be honest because i wasnt here.

and it just shows how childish you are jack when you think you have shown me up by setting me up for a reaction.

You have no shame. Your posts are embarrasing and ignorant. You only support JB for your own reasons. I am ashamed of you. You are a rude, shouty mess. Get a bloody life.

Hiya Jackie.

Thank you for letting me know.I am sooo excited!

Regarding Oak Farm - ngb didnt do a land registry search as vidvic claims. It was me that confirmed that the Eatons still own it,as vidvic wasnt sure.It is true Jackie, they do still own it,but maybe not for much longer if things go well for Jeremy eh?   Tyler xxx

Dear Jackie,

Please compare the above pm to what you told me that day on the forum.......

"Vicvid said he could prove he was telling the truth and sent him some details
Ngb looked into it and found something different so instead of Putting it out on the forum he asked
Vic in a pm
I have no idea if or whether he replied at all but if I am told by a forum member he asked this person about this property it shows he doesn't know the family

What significance is it if someone says they have inside information from the relatives we are meant to believe it's true
Hartley does it all the time
Vidvic has stated today on this forum that something I was told by a forum member I really respect is not true

Getting to the truth is imperative for me"

Could you please tell me where in the pm you received does it say that I'd asked anyone? The only person I asked was NGB who offered to help. Tyler (who you respect apparently) did not find out the information it was NGB. Even though Tyler confirmed to you that Oak farm was still owned by Peter Eaton you chose to give the impression that I was lying and therefore didn't know the family.

You knew the truth and hid it to make me look stupid. You lied.

Shona
You might think that you are funny with the latest topic that you started regarding me. I have never asked for an apology and it would mean nothing to me coming from you. As for Bob being worth a million times more than me that's your opinion and I have been openly vocal about what I think of Bob and his bullying of Smiffy because in my opinion he is worth a million times more than the two of you put together.  How many of yours and Bobs posts have been about the case and how many have been nasty comments about Smiffy with Abs cartoons thrown in for fun.  As for Andrea that is a lesson I have learnt because I have pm s from Andrea asking if I could tell her anything about what was going on with JB s case. When something is asked in a pm it means the person who is asking wants privileged information.  Luckily I did not share anything like that with Andrea.  How stupid do I feel now knowing that Andrea was exchanging pm s with Horsey who has a pathological hatred for Jeremy. I think one of Andrea posts regarding Horsey making out I sent him a vile pm was 'Horsey you've done nothing wrong' so Andrea was using me as a go between when she was sending pm s to Horsey unforgivable. For the people who have supported me and Jeremy on this forum there are amazing things happening which will become apparent very soon.  A couple of days ago because of the nastiness and lies that have gone on in the forum I had decided to have nothing more to do with Jeremy, the Campaign or the forum but in the last 48 hours Jeremy has rung countless times and said a million sorrys because he knows what has been going on and it's not even his fault.  When Jeremy is visibly upset because I am upset how can I give up on him even if I have to take disgusting things written on the forum and get told about nasty things written about me on the Facebook Guilty Page. I have had a long email from Sarah Hanover stating she has never said anything bad about me so was that more lies from Horsey. I have no intention of regularly posting on the forum unless it's something important I need to react to.
The only important person at this time is Jeremy and proving he is innocent.  He has made promises to me and I believe in him however much people would like to think we have fallen out or I don't do things which are in Jeremys interest.
If anyone is in any doubt of our friendship please feel free to write or email Jeremy today.  I have never let him down and I never will

Is all this in-fighting helpful? Or simply something which is to be expected given the nature of the forum?

By that Jackiepreece, I mean, in the past you have told me to stop bullying Smiffy, which certainly wasn't the case and we appear to have sorted out any differences now anyway, well we at least seem to be able to hold a conversation with each other; I've been told by Chochokeira to stop bullying Horsey/CM9, which again I wasn't, I simply believe him to be a fraud.

You and Chochokeira in the past seem to be very close, backing each other up on occasion and rarely, if ever, have appeared to have had any personal issues with each other, yet now I'm being told to lay off Horsey/CM9 by Chochokeira, yet you have been very much more vocal towards Horsey/CM9 than even I have (and with good reason in my opinion).

It just seems that some of the digs and jabs at each other are more of a disdain for another persons views rather than a disdain for the person, those who are outspoken and perhaps a little shouty, are likely to come in for more flak than those who quietly go about their business.

I'm not even sure what I'm trying to say to be honest, all this personal stuff is entertaining for a while for bystanders, but it quickly becomes boring and doesn't help the purpose of the forum, whether it hinders it or not, I don't really know.

Steve, I would be grateful if you would not attempt to drag me into rows which I haven't had any part in or even commented on. I would also be grateful if you would refrain from trying to stir things up between Jackie and I and from commenting on personal aspects of how well Jackie and I get on with each other: this is personal, none of your concern and something you know nothing about. I'm happy to discuss my comment regarding Horsey: on the relevent thread.

as for Horsey having a pathological  hatred of jb, pathological is a bit strong a word jack, people who are familiar with events at whf hate jb, after all if they havent studied the case then they will obviously just accept that hes the greedy basket that blew his family away, including 2 kiddies in their beds for money and the good life style that comes with it.

Not everyone is as passionate as you are jack about this case.

I am not going to discuss it anymore I will just be more careful who I trust in the future and I will protect Jeremy as long as I need to it's my choice.

Jeremy has been trying to get hold of me for the last couple of days and the first words he said to me was I am so sorry

He had heard someone had lied about me and lied about what Sarah had said about me and knew I would be upset.

It's the last thing he needs to be worrying about at the moment hence why I won't be on here

Andrea, this is my very first post to your wide awake club!
I just wanted to say thank you for starting this thread.
I'm wide awake and wanted to say that within the last week, I
have met a "Sociopath".
I think I will post about this on the "Off Topic" thread.
Even 'though it is actually "on topic" too!
It may be tonight or tomorrow - but I ceratinly did meet one
of these vermin, (can't think of a better definition offhand)!
it was via my adult kids - my God what an experience that was!
I do not consider myself to have led a sheltered life, but this person was  beyond
anything I have ever encountered before!
Night.Night to everyone,

My heart opts for Heathcliffe every time: he positively sizzled, didn't he? You could almost see the steam coming off of the page. Dangerous too....irresistible. My head, of course, says go for the sensible, perfect man: Rochester. But then you'd end up like his wife, crazy with boredom and locked in the attic, wouldn't you? No. It has to be Heathcliffe for me.

We met? no, not in person ;) I came on a few weeks ago as Blueyonder, made a couple of posts being honest about my current view on the JB case and felt a bit of hostility, so I posted no more so as not to upset anyone but I still have been reading up on this case.

I accept that anyone new coming here is viewed as a potential troll and the behaviour of some is unexcusable. However, I really am Mrs ordinary who just has an interest in potential MOJ's (note even though I am not convinced yet in JBs innocence, I still see it as a potential MOJ). I have been watching amanda knox's appeal all day - the italian system is a piece of work!

Post by: quietlife on September 25, 2011, 01:16:AM
For probably the same reason as you Shona. I believe this case was handled really really badly but cant quite get over Sheila overpowering her father and a few other things. Like everyone, I want to see the outcome of the CCRC and I want to see how they answer the PII & witholding of evidence questions. So I read the docs on here to get a better understanding in the meantime.

I can do that of course without conversing with anyone on here. I was just trying to make conversation and wasnt being confrontational at all.

QL I wonder if I may just interupt here in your private ladies only forum for one minute. Just read what you have said QL. You are right. Because we have had a lot of trouble with trolls on here we do rightly or wrongly tend to view every new member as a potential troll. But having read some of the stuff that you have posted I am willing to apologise and admit that I was wrong in my judgment of you. Please feel to post. Even though we may not agree on things we do welcome fresh views of the case.

Thankyou Grahame, I do appreciate you have some malicious and difficult visitors. I don't quite understand what I did to generate quite such hostility. From what was said it seems that people have been doing a bit of research on me, and if that is the case, I can't quite see how anyone thought I was any of the malicious people I have witnessed on here.

Anyway... I am happy to draw a line in the sand and move on and will forget all posts to date. No hard feelings etc. okay?

For the record, I will just reiterate where I am on this case. I don't know whether JB is guilty or innocent (as I said before, my opinion counts for diddly squat in the scheme of things anyway, so who cares?!), but there are certain things that I can't personally get over (as yet), and they are likely to have been things the jury considered important too, so I am not convinced as yet that their decision should be interfered with. I do accept, as I think everyone does, that the investigation was badly handled and there are unanswered questions - due to the time lapse and destruction of evidence some of these things will remain so unfortunately. I have not seen the content of the current appeal and so do not know precisely the extent of the grounds, so I do not know if there is something out there that will change my mind.  However, like many, even if the appeal fails I still want to see the justification for the PII and witholding of documents/evidence. I think that the CCRC knows that they need to nail this case once and for all with a convincing decision, or it will continually come back to haunt them. Which I think is why they are extending the process to cover everything. Obviously if there is a referral then we'll have to wait longer for the answers.

You know, I've just been reading about the Duchess of Alba marrying again at 85. Her fiance is her 61 year old toy boy. The article led me to think about what good looks can
bring those with a will to exploit their God given blessings.

It also had me thinking that a young man who was as good looking as Jeremy Bamber and as much of a woman magnet as he was - and still is to a certain extent - had no need to risk a life in prison for serial murders. Quite aside from being materially wealthy in his own right and shortly due to inherit from his grandma, he could have had his pick of wealthy women. Aside from all of the other reasons I believe he did not kill his family, for a young man with all of his advantages in life to brutally murder his mother, father, sister and nephews; to do that terrible thing, to take that massive risk to his freedom and soul, it's in conceiveable.

Hi Summer, I hope you feel better soon. I still feel like death warmed up, but I'm putting my trust in the old wives' tale that a cold is two days coming, two days with you and two days going. This time scale normally seems to work for me, so I hope I'll begin to feel a little better by tomorrow and that the same applies to you. Take care x

some kids still are wied eyed like those tots on the snowman film they still believe in santa, the talc made it real for them!, the ski resorts in austria are bare just about no snow they are having to use snow makers, thats what you want Andrea a couple in your garden !

We get a little powdering of snow over here and we close all the schools. My brother used to live in Canada. They have really adapted to it over there. He was out taking photos in the snpow once and fell into a frozen lake, He rushed home as quickly as possible and his hand froze to the door handle.

If one has an open mind - I'd like to think so, yes.

Did you read the thread that Campion started on the history of the Bamber properties and land.

Quite a piece!!

No, i havent read yet.

Ive been busy, uniforms etc. Then my daughter decided she wanted to change her room around and i was dragged in to help, couldnt believe the junk she had in there, i saw lots of my makeup that she "borrows" from time to time, and forgets to give back  ;)

It was posted some days ago, I think.  Never mind.  Something to catch up on when it gets quiet on here.

So you were drawn into helping change a bedroom round - I was drawn into having a picnic on the river.  Fortunately, one did not have to catch one's own food.  :P
