What happenned to the flake?
He kept the dried flake of blood [he stated] because it 'fascinated', him!!!
Who had livered, or sent it to the Lab' to be analysed in the first instance?
Huntingdon Lab' records, state that they examined 'a dried flake of blood' yet they refuse to say exactly where it came from, or who had delivered it..
-
It remains a critical point in the blood grouping evidence that was used to help to get 'Jeremy Bamber' convicted. Ironically, please bear this in mind - absolutely 'no photograps were taken to show that there was the slightest blood at all, found on any of the surfaces of any of the 17 internalised baffle plates..

Can we have some evidence or a source please for David Boutflour stating he removed a flake of blood. Thanks.

I believe the silencer involved in this case had 15 baffle plates.

No photographs were taken showing any sign of blood on either a 17 or a 15 baffle plated silencer!

How do you know photographs weren't taken?
I believe diagrams and descriptions exist.

In 2010 Mike wrote that the Pargeter silencer had 17 baffles as it had been purchased in 1980. Since Parker Hale altered their internal design beyond 1980, it wasn't known how many baffle plates the Bamber silencers had. Nevill Bamber purchased his from a gun dealer in Colchester in 1984.

There is obviously more information on the silencer/s which was submitted in March, including how the scratch appeared on the Aga.

How would Mike know how many baffles the Pargeter silencer had and when it was purchased?
All the forensic scientists for defence and prosecution refer to 15 baffles for the silencer at the centre of Bamber's conviction.

Aren't these some of the small insignificances that you make notes of at the beginning of a trial ? Not forgetting that Mike had been given this information from JB who'd spoken to Pargeter a week before the murders when Pargeter stayed at WHF.
But then, nobody believed what JB said/ says anyway. ::)

Mike and Jeremy are not reliable sources of information.

Like Mugford you mean ?
-
Anyway, what was to stop the relatives from swapping baffle plates from silencer to silencer ? Always supposing that the baffles were standard.
Easiest thing in the world to do, if you're that way inclined.

Whichever way you look at this some jiggery-pokery has definitely taken place.
