Ann recalled that Jeremy then asked her, "Do you want to come and see the goodies?" They went upstairs to the master bedroom, where the floor was covered in heirlooms including the Meissen clock, chinaware, silver service cutlery, antique condiment sets and a candelabra. A suitcase filled with old sketches lay on the bed. Ann reminded him that the clock belonged to Sheila. "It's mine now," Jeremy replied. She asked if he was going to put it away. "No." he said, "when I come into this room I like to see nice things."
Almost ten years later, she recalled: "I haven't seen these items since." http://jeremybamberforum.co.uk/index.php/topic,3958.0.html

And your point ? Everything did belong to Jeremy. Ann Eaton was stealing money and property that did NOT belong to her
Do you agree Ann was a theif

Basil Cook gave them permission to. The CT have claimed that Ann told Basil that Jeremy said it was OK. If true its probably a lie.

Ann took some of her mother's items back to Carbonells Farm, including some items of June of sentimental value. Jeremy had no right to any of the property until probate was granted.

AE was given the keys to WHF within days of the murders and whatever was around the place was taken for " safe-keeping " which would have included everything mentioned above.

Was this before or after Jeremy and Brett Collins loaded a van headed for Sotheby's..

Before.

I thought AE handed the £400 to Basil Cock or the police.
Bamber went searching for it shortly afterwards. He would have certainly spent the next 36 years making a big fuss if he thought AE had taken it for herself.

How strange then that he didn't take it on the night of the murders ? Afterall, he's been painted as greedy and grasping.

Not really so strange. He was going to come back for it shortly thereafter, and anyway he had already helped himself to more than double that amount with the Osea Road robbery.

You have actually made a valid point.
Suspect he just wanted to focus on the massacre & frame. Plenty of time later to remove items from WHF.

He was going to go back for it ? You're kidding, surely ?

I mean after Police had entered and he had fed his false story to them and the relatives. It almost worked, didn't it?

Wasn't well hidden was it, under the mat ::) Why didn't he take it with him ?

..because it would have looked too obvious.

Like his dyed hair and dilated pupils ?
-
Be aware of men who dye their hair black and who also have dilated pupils as they're murderers.

Well the latter is a sure sign of cocaine use.

Not necessarily. Pupils dilate for all sorts of reasons, the most common being a change of lighting. For instance going from light to dark as in sunshine one minute to indoors. Fear too can alter the pupils and of course medical conditions.
-
Don't forget that AE was going scatty looking for clues. I bet her own pupils were working overtime with excitement !!
