The Crown are refuting that the documents were not previously disclosed.

If there was nothing to hide in the documents that the CPS refute were not disclosed, then just disclose them again. For the sake of the cost incurred for a bit of retrieval and scanning by some admin staff, the authorities would rather pay a renouned QC and argue the case instead?

How would anyone know Ainsley did this 35 years ago?

2010 is mentioned - which is puzzling, as I understand Ainsley retired after one of the appeals.
