Where did I say I condoned what they'd done? I gave probable reasons for why which is quite different. I feel confident that Jamie's parents might agree that poor parenting could have contributed to what Thomson and Venebles did. Their behaviours didn't suddenly materialize out of the ether. Nothing JUST happens. There's always a reason. For me, your "born evil" choice, doesn't work..................unless you're also of the belief that all women -yes, infallible you, too- are capable of giving birth randomly to an apparently normal, but psychologically disturbed monster, with no conscience, who enjoys slicing up animals and gravitates towards humans.
