Yes he knew about it, he mentioned to AE that when she opened the safe, she would get a shock.

Assuming that's what he was referring to of course. I wonder why he thought she would be the one to open the safe. Did she do everything?

Possibly. I'm surprised that Mr Cox didn't stop David destroying something which he had no right to. Roland Pargeter wasn't related to David anyway.

Basil was on their side,as was everyone in this" biased towards prosecution " case.

I have to agree with that lookout. The way the estate was handled tells me that.

It tells you in her statements. He wouldn't go to WHF to help BC collect the valuables, so she was tasked with it.

Yes, he was referring to the drugs because he mentioned that his mother and father took it from RP.

Where did he say that?

Where did Ann say Jeremy gave her the task of opening the safe?

I'm not doubting you, I just haven't seen that.

I'll look for it and post it later.

One has to ask why. After all, what had Basil to do with Jeremy? Might he have witnessed/heard things which caused him to be wary of him?

Witnessed ? Heard ? Where ? When ? Is it recorded ? Referenced ?

Unless he was asked, why would that be necessary? You're claiming his bias was in favour of the family. Prove it.

It doesn't matter if he was wary of him or not, his job was executor of the Wills.

Exactly! WHY should he, as Lookout is claiming, have sided with the relatives against Jeremy?

I wonder if he too got a prezzie like the police did after the verdict ? Was he also present at the " knees-up " with the other crony, McKenzie ?

He appeared to favour them generally - he decided they should get all the dosh, and not Nevill's relatives.
