He re-wrote notes in his pocketbook to help conceal the truth about his find of the original silencer, SBJ/1, at the scene on 7th August 19085, and also the conspiracy between the police and a number of relatives, to promote the idea that the bamber silencer had been found in the gun cupboard at whf, a month sooner than it actrually was...
DS "Stan" Jones, tampered with his pocketbook entries, and you can all see evidence of this at the following link, which shows three different start dates for when the pocketbook which contains his evidence as per the investigation at whf, was recorded:-

Pocketbook, number, 49, was issued to DS Jones on 4th November 1984, but the start date was altered to 4th April 1985, then adjusted once more to allegedly start from 5th April 1985...
Please note that there is a five month delay between 4th November 1984, and the 5th April 1985 - so what was DS Jones doing with a blank pocketbook for a period of five (5) months? Police officers are supposed to only have one current pocketbook in their possession at any one time, into which they are compelled to make daily entries regarding their duties, and meal breaks, and the times they finished duty on each particular day...
Note that the front cover of DS Jones pocketbook (49) bears the official Essex police date stamp of 4th November 1985...
Not to be overlooked, is the fact that the pocketbook (49) is supposed to have been completed by 7th May 1986, long before Jeremy stood trial at Chelmsford Crown Court which took place in October 1986, by which time DS Jones, had re-wrote his evidence in the aforementioned pocketbook in readiness for giving evidence at Bambers trial...
What this tells us all, is that Essex police, knew full well that DS Jones, falsified the accounts which are recorded in this pocketbook, yet they took no action against him...
