Certainly, in my experience, women are far more likely to take responsibility for their sexual activity than are men, especially young men, who HATE condoms and see precautions as being the female's concern. We don't actually have many details about Sheila's male friends, but she wouldn't have been fitted with an IUD for fun.

You see this is another point I don't think Bamber considered. How are we expected to believe a slip of a women like Sheila, who's iron levels were low, would have stayed up an entire night to slaughter her family then wait for the police to arrive?

Are we expected to believe she changed her tampon while the police were outside with loaded guns?

PMT usually dissipates with the onset of menstruation and Sheila was further on than onset.
