Jeremy wouldn't have shot the dog as that would have alerted someone in the house. I don't know if the dog would have been barking or would have hidden when the violence started. There was the sound of a dog barking on the open phone line as I recall.

but if was using a silencer they wouldn't of heard him shoot the dog.

It would have made little difference to have shot the dog except that it obviously kept up the barking and if someone  can shoot humans, they can also shoot a dog no problem. In this particular case, the dog was no threat to Sheila. This is the way I see it.
There have been many reports of break-ins where an owners dog has been stabbed. Desperate people are ruthless and certainly wouldn't let an animal get in their way.

As, by his own testimony, he hated it SO much, it's hard to think he wouldn't have shot it at the last moment as a piece de resistance....................but it's not something I believe Sheila would have done.

I thought the sound moderator didn't make much difference to the sound of a shot.

You are correct Kaldin.  The moderater did just that, it moderated the sound from the rifle.  It didn't really make much difference to the human ear but silenced the noise a rabbit or other prey would hear when the bullet left the gun so they were not forewarned.  It is nothing like the 'silencer' seen in films which I think are illegal in this country.

What a complete load of twaddle.

Jeremy never stated that "June seemed all for it::)

June never stated that she "didn't want them to be fostered::)

Your distortions stand out like an elephant in a flock of sheep!
Colin's mother, Dorothy Brencher, confirms that this was indeed one of June's fears. The Bambers were in any case making formal arrangements for their grandson's schooling, as confirmed by Barbara Wilson.

Just reading about a celebrity,Roxy Jacenko, who in May,has said that she had a breakdown and had crashed her car and also  forgot where she'd left her children. She'd said that she'd thought she was " losing her marbles ".
It's the suddenness that something like this can take over there and then with the mind a complete blank. Frightening.

Such occurrences are probably happening to someone, somewhere, every day.
