I must say it does apper to be clutching at straws as anyone could have moved the flipping thing and it proves absolutely nothing imo.
Exactly. It seems that other things on the windowsill itself were not disturbed. Surely there would have been a mess on there if he'd climbed out of the window - blood, sugar(?), general debris.
