Yes, I think so too. I know it's in a different position, but there's no sign of the dog ears at all on the pic of it face up, and the pages are not scuffed as you'd expect.

Those items inside it too ? 2 Bibles,2 Rifles.

I can only go on those photos, and I see complications with them. How do you know it's the same one?

One reason is that there can be no justifiable cause, given that they 'knew' Sheila to be responsible, to take away the bible they found on her and replace it with another.

Then how did they get the creases out of the corners of the cover?

To my mind, the blood underneath the Bible is not Sheila's blood. I can't see how it would have got there from her wounds.

Creases that only seem visible to some on this forum?

You can't see the creases? There's a massive one on the corner of the front cover for a start.

OK. Now show me the other one at exactly the same angle and give a reasonable cause for the bibles being swapped.

You can see the corner of the front cover here, and there's no sign of creasing. That corner was totally turned back, and there's no way it would have been flattened out merely by placing the Bible the other way up.

That just ain't gonna work! Sure, the cover is creased -very precisely so- when the cover is face up. There's no way of knowing what the cover looks like when the bible is open and it can't be seen, added to which you still haven't given a justifiable reason for a 'swap'.

Look, those creases must have been really manipulated in order for the cover to be flat later. You might not be able to see the edges of the corners, but I can. Also, the pages were rucked up when the Bible was on the floor, which surely would have resulted in some creasing of those pages.

I haven't said the Bible was swapped.

As I'd asked, where are the items which are clearly seen in the creased Bible, but not in the other Bible which is placed, opened by Sheila's side ?

They must have been removed, but there are no photos of them after that. That's a pity because there must surely have been blood on the note if the Bible really was resting against Sheila's arm.

Then the suggestion is that IT has been tampered with and you've still not offered any reason for it.

Or there might have been two Bibles.

Well I can see a marked difference between the Bibles pictured. I swear they're not the same, unless someone has ironed out the inner pages and also the outer cover, and the thought of that is ridiculous.

What was to stop the two women to have had one each ? There were 5 kept at the farmhouse, and Sheila could have been following whatever her mother was reading out to her.
