It would negate the photos if the Bible had been moved. I've also seen photos of Sheila's hand in different positions so clearly her hand was moved during the photography.

PS Adams commented about the position of the Bible when he saw it. That was in 1991, so you might say that he had forgotten.

I also found this, but I'm not sure where it came from.

An officer saying he remembers the bible being in a slightly different position to where the photos show is not sufficient.

However if you can find other photos of the bible in different positions, that would be interesting.

Well I'm not dismissing it. I've definitely seen photos where Sheila's hand is in a different position, so I don't dismiss the idea that the Bible was in a different position either.

Nobody is dismissing it, they are just not immediately attaching the reason for it that Roch desires.

It's got nothing to do with any desire on my part.  The officers in question experessed 'real concerns' regarding position of Sheila's head or body; the bible; and the rifle.  One of the officers couldn't even recall a rifle being present.  Another one places it in a completely different position to that of the crime scene photos - which as you know, were taken after the TFG involvement (obviously).

How you equate these circs to some desire on my part is beyond my comprenhension.

More than one officer said it actually - I'm just not sure who the second one was.

There are a lot of photos I wish I could find. I wish I could find one of that area with all the blood showing so I could establish where the blood under the Bible had come from. I am becoming convinced that the blood on the pages of the Bible came from the floor rather than a hand - because of the lack of blood on the cover of the Bible, but I need to see that blood on the floor.

All the photos on page 2 here show the bible in the same position.

The police would not touch Sheila prior to the crime scene photographer arriving. Otherwise there is no point in him turning up.

Adam's given a link to the photographs.

One conundrum you will see, is that the blood stain visible on the floor, is on the opposite page to the blood stain on the bible.

I agree that all the photos show the Bible in the same position. Can you explain why Jeremy would put the Bible in that position? Would he not realise that the Bible was slightly on top of her arm?

Is it possible that the Bible was not in that position when she shot herself and that it slipped there after she had fallen back?

It's previously been suggested that the opening of the door by the firearms team may have moved the bible. The pages appear folded over, rather than actually being opened at a specific page.

Bamber did that because he made a mistake. One of several.

It is not possible that the bible would go onto Sheila's arm after she killed herself.

The opening of a door moved a heavy book ? Who an earth suggested that ?

What door. Was the bedroom door shut ?

You assume that the person holding the bible must have blood on their finger tips, they don't have to.

You also assume the person holding the bible must grasp it from the covers, they don't have to.

You also assume the bible must have been held while folded and not folded outwards.

The bible was placed over the distinctive bloodstain, which some have claimed was from Sheila being given CPR.  Whatever the origin of the distinctive bloodstain - I cannot see why Jeremy Bamber would want to cover it?  It would after-all be discovered by police anyway?  Perhaps somebody didn't want the stain being too obvious a feature in the crime scene photography?  If so, they failed to cover it completely.

This page details concerns that TFG raised about the crime sene when it was shown to them in photographs.

The door next to the bible I presume.

Did the police enter through this door ?

How can opening that door move a heavy book onto Sheila's arm ?

The door from the box room? Did they go into the bedroom that way?
