Hmm, I can't see Jeremy reading the Bible to find such a page. If you open the Bible at any page, you could probably find something which could be deemed significant.

I'm not saying Nevill read the Bible at all, I'm saying that if it was his blood, it was transferred to the Bible by the hands of the killer. However, there's no indication that the killer touched Nevill with their hands. I also never said that June picked up the Bible after she was shot. I've made it clear that the blood would have been transferred by the hands of the killer, and it's more likely that the killer touched June.

Every page in the bible could relate to murder & suicide ?

Yes Bamber certainly touched Nevill & Sheila. If he touched June, more blood would have gone onto his hands as June was very bloodied. After all this he went about staging the scene.

After killing Sheila the first thing Bamber would do is get the bible. Which would be in the same room. That is when he transferred blood onto the bible.

There is blood staining to the carpet in that area, so it may well have transferred from there.

The blood on the pages appears to be a mirror image, as if it's been closed and opened, or maybe just seeped through a few pages to give that impression.

I'm now thinking that's perhaps the only way the blood got on those pages. If it came from the hands of the killer, there would be blood on the cover of the Bible too, and there wasn't. The blood isn't necessarily from a palm print, it could be from the carpet, and it got smudged when the Bible was closed.

In what way does the page refer to murder and suicide? It's about sin, and much of the Bible is about sin. How did Jeremy transfer blood to the inside of the Bible and not the outside?

There were only spots of blood on the carpet. No where near enough to transfer to bible pages.

There was blood under the Bible which was more than a spot - you can see it in at least one of the pics

Another thought, the blood on the bible would probably be dry by the time the police entered the house. So if the bible was opened and closed when the blood was wet, the it could only have been done after Sheila was killed.

The bible is slightly on top of Sheila's right arm.

How could this happen if she shot herself ?

Yes, I agree with that. I gather that there's some dispute about where the Bible was though. I read a statement yesterday about that somewhere in the archive. I'll try to find it.

The pictures have the bible slightly on top of Sheila's arm. Which would be impossible if she shot herself.

Yes, I know. Let me look for the statement of one of the officers who thought it was further away when he saw it.

That wouldn't negate the photo's.

Officers may recall things days or months after seeing them, slightly differently to how photos show them.

It has to again be concluded that Bamber is guilty.

It would negate the photos if the Bible had been moved. I've also seen photos of Sheila's hand in different positions so clearly her hand was moved during the photography.

PS Adams commented about the position of the Bible when he saw it. That was in 1991, so you might say that he had forgotten.

I also found this, but I'm not sure where it came from.

Not really. Sheila could have put the Bible face down in the blood, picked it up, closed it, opened it, and put it down again

Several officers questioned the position of Sheila / bible / rifle etc during both stages of the investigation.  It just gets dismissed on here when you attempt to bring it up.

Well I'm not dismissing it. I've definitely seen photos where Sheila's hand is in a different position, so I don't dismiss the idea that the Bible was in a different position either.
